Butch doesn't have any connections. He's stubborn and wants "his way"

That's a recipe for disaster IMO. It finally took Bajakian years to "get out" while he could.

Butch can't hire a better OC than DeBord because

A: He doesn't know anybody else in his "book"
or
B: When he interviews OC's he gives off a bad vibe and the OC being interviewed wouldn't even take the job if offered.

Everyone "respects" everyone in their own profession.

The whole "we hired a guy that will keep same style, terminology , etc.". Is complete BS.

We have played against 3 teams with new OCs and lost all 3 of them. Almost lost to a new DC guy in Bowling Green and lost to a brand new DC at Florida.

The kids aren't stupid to not figure out a "system"

Jim Hackett who is still acting AD and a guy named Mike Debord was put in charge of day to day operations of football program till new coach was hired. Hmmm, wonder who"contacted" Jones from Michigan's side. Yes Lyle was on the list, Supposedly in the top 7. Lyle and Debord got one over on the great Dave Hart to get that contract extension, raise and huge buyout.

More like solid with Debord who trumpeted his name toward someone in Knoxville only to have the favor of a raise repaid a short time later.

Anyone with a pulse and an IQ higher than their shoe size was very aware that Harbaugh was incoming at Michigan.
