The more elite a reciever gets the less touches they often have because coverage comes their way. North has been a victim of this and of being injured. Case in point North was hurt leading into BG. That means he got less practice leading into the game. My opinion is catches mirrored recent practice and coverage. As North stays healthy and practices and other guys draw double coverage North will come back into the mix. It's a great problem.

I do believe we have more than 1 reciever with North level talent.

Bottom line there is more than one right answer.

Me on my couch 5 minutes before kickoff Saturday.

All week for most of us!

Supposedly you can learn your porn name by combining your middle name and the name of the street you grew up on.

Mine would be Dale Sweetwater.

He he he

You're Exactly right, Hunter Daniel looked good. His hang time seemed to be much better than BG's imo. Love how we can get the most out of our special teams (other than Med last week) it seems.

Hunter Daniel?

Punting was a pleasant surprise last week.

Cooper didn't have any problems. North is open plenty enough, and butch said he was 100% going into BG, he's just not the first read on the play calls. Almost every coach I've ever heard discuss the topic says you have to feed your top guy or you won't succeed.

Our top guy gets fed the ball every time it's snapped. He then either hands it off, passes it.....or takes off running like the wind with it. I'd say their philosophy is pretty sound. :)

Probably true. But lose the OU game and there will be a TON of pressure on this young team to win the FL game. And it's already on the road in the swamp with the streak looming. No extra pressure would be good

3-0 going into Florida with a win over a ranked team and hitting on all cylinders I can see it and I can feel it, but this dang game against OU has my gut in a knot lol.

Some notes from 3hl on OU last week vs. Alron....

They scored only 3 points first six drives. They had 6 major penalties. They had two horrible ST plays and overall bad ST play. They were 4 of 13 on third downs. They gave up 138 on the ground and only gained around 100.

All at home. Guys... Guise...soon.

"Against The Akron Zips? Really, @BobStoops? Can you still coach?"
