If that is true then this suspension is very likely something other than drug test related

Someone on another board said they've had classes with DO before and he rarely shows up, so maybe that could be the issue?

Not sure how strictly that is actually enforced by the staff right now.

If it's the case? They JUST DID. :)

Improve number of catches sure but no shot their blocking stays the same much less gets better and that was my point.

10 plays in a row with the running/blocking our WRs do is like running 10 60yd sprints in a 3min timeframe. Very very taxing on even the most elite athletes
if run blocking suffers due to number of plays why aren't the offensive linemen being substituted regularly, so again no

Weather looks like it will be kind to us in terms of KMac/Tuttle getting an increased number of snaps. Will be around 70 degrees at kickoff and likely cloudy. Huge difference from 96 degrees with high humidity and the sun beating down last week against BGSU.

Gotta go with sto on this one. Not saying keep North on the field every play, but I doubt there's a single #1 WR in college or pro who is pulled out as much as North.

Yeah I agree with you. I wish he stayed on the field more. I think our coaches want to make sure that when one of our receivers does catch the ball downfield they are as fresh as possible to give them the best opportunity to make a play and score.

It probably has less to do with North and more to do with us having 8-10 receivers that all do things well and all have earned some playing time. They are trying to use this depth to their advantage and wear down secondaries most likely.

Y'all are crazy if you think Kahlil is in such bad shape that he can't play more than 2 plays.

He may have sat out a couple days and gotten behind, but it's not like he was sitting on the couch eating Doritos for a week straight in that time.

He is an elite talent that is well beyond his years. I know he's a freshman, but I don't think Butch has any intentions of letting him ride the bench all season.

He gets thrown into the fire early and often this week in my opinion. He needs to make a big play or two to gain some confidence. Once that happens he may take that spot over for good. This is the perfect time to unleash him.

All he needs to do if he gets winded is take his shoe off and then flop on the ground and act hurt. Problem solved.

Obrien is a loss for this team, but I'm excited to see Shy Tuttle and Khalil beast against these O-linemen. I noticed against Bowling Green that the Defensive ends were able to get to the edge, but all the QB had to do was step up in the pocket due to the lack of pass rush from the defensive tackles.

With Tuttle and KMac in there, that will create more opportunities for Barnett and Maggit to get sacks.

Tuttle was getting big push. Also Phillips late in the game looked the part.

I'm wondering why do they pull North. It's not like he's tired. Hell he doesn't even get the ball thrown his way. He's not even the primary on a lot of play designs I've been seeing. Year 1 they had plays designed just for him. WTH happened is my question....

OL don't run near as far on each play. Sure they get winded and besides we certainly don't have the depth to have a rotation anyway like we do at WR

North is stilll playing through his injury. He should of been held out against bowling green.
Hopefully, he's healthy enough to make an impact.
