2015 easily. I know most Tennessee fans are hung up on Florida. But that game was IRRELEVANT to the rest of the country. It was a meeting between two unranked teams that had little impact on the national title race.

This OU-UT game is the second biggest game of the weekend (for a national perception standpoint). Tennessee is ranked. OU is ranked. Both teams are considered dark horse contenders. Its so much more significant than the Florida game, that the comparison is laughable.

A win Saturday against OU will send a message throughout the nation. A win last year against Florida would've only ended a humilating streak that only Tennessee fans are hung up on.

First thought, "Sweet... just in time for Oklahoma." I step inside, get my shoes and jeans on quickly to provide an extra layer of protection, and get my negotiation equipment. I poked, prodded, and sprayed the area with water, I searched around. For an hour... looking all around my house, and I can't find the dang thing.

I cannot confirm if this was a cobra or not. I will say this, I cannot believe how quickly that thing got the heck out of here without me seeing it. It was essentially cornered, and somehow got away in those brief moments I was preparing for war.

I was beginning to wonder about your dedication and commitment Nick, but you stayed after it, and after much scrambling by your adversary, finally got the sack! Can you make some kind of OU voodoo contraption and burn it and the snake?

1 make a voodoo contraption
2 burn it and the snake
3 come up with a 4 line prayer marking the beginning of our return to ascendancy
4 take pics

Despite living less than a mile away from Neyland; despite staying strong with UT during the hard years; despite having a love for all things UT that is hardly matched on campus, I didn't get selected for a student ticket for the OU game...

This Saturday the game that all the "next year's" had been promising us will finally occur and I won't get to experience it.

Honestly, getting that email this morning felt worse then when you get a break up text from a girl.

Last years Florida game and this years florida game are/were both much more important than this Saturday. Not really close IMO

Reasons:
1) SEC
2) Rivalry
3) recruiting(huge) we don't recruit much against OU
4) We must finally beat Florida for our teams mentality to grow. We have to get over that hump. Had we done that last year a win this year would be much more likely. Same for next year.


Saturday is going to fun but not all that important IMO.
