Tell me if I'm crazy.

BG's QB > UF QB, USC QB, UGA QB, Mizzou QB
BG's WR > UF WR, USC WR, UGA WR, Missou WR
BG's OL > UF OL

Crazy?
No idea if he is better overall but he played out of his mind against us. I rewatched and as poor as our secondary played some passes were just undefensible.

Incredibly accurate, at least for that day...

The most amazing part about his play is the quick decisions he made under pressure. We actually generated some decent pressure but he evaded most of it and connected some great passes doing it. It was disgusting.

AJ Johnson was "slow". Speed is not the end all be all at MLB.

AJ had good initial burst though. He read his keys and knew the calls like the backside of his hand. And he played his run fits pretty damn good too.

Jumper knows the calls and signals. Other than that, not sure why he's starting. It was also just 1 game, his first collegiate action, so you can't put 100% stock into that.

With that being said, roll with DK.

On that 4th down play, he reminds me of Jacques Smith.

Remember when he would just run right into the blocker? Jumper just went right into the blocker opening up the lane for the back to run right through

He did, I agree, but he thought the QB still had the ball and the runner blew right by him. He could/should have made the play, he was in the perfect position but lost the ball.

I would give him a pass on this play. It was 4th down, no one thought they would snap the ball. When they snapped the ball no one thought they would run instead of throw, including the coaches.

We should have called a time out on that play, nothing to lose. I put that play on the coaches/player 50/50.

But gosh, he was in perfect position to nail that guy if he had been able to locate the ball.

We had a ton of missed tackles Saturday. Jumper was not alone there. I was dissapointed in that.

Yikes:

"With the outcome no longer in doubt, somebody asked departed offensive tackle Donovan Smith on Twitter why he left Penn State after last season, with a year of eligibility remaining.

“This exact reason,” said Smith, a second-round pick of Tampa Bay this past spring."

So they gave up a school record 44 sacks last year, and they gave up almost a quarter of that in one game so far (10).
