At least Vandy has the best run defense in the conference after week one.
Most awesome thread ever on VM.

this has been said multiple times here and VU fans cant make sense of football talkWhy don't we go after a coach who runs the triple option? Look what Georgia Tech does with it. Let's be honest with ourselves right now, we can't get the talent other SEC schools do, whether it be because of academics or a just plain refusal of top talent going to come here. A GT style offense here would force every team we face to game plan for us and with only 1 week to game plan for it, that's hard to do. I'd like hear what people think.
I am not certain who the perfect candidate is at this time but I know what skill sets he should have:
1) Ability to recruit the south with connections in place.
2) Head coaching experience.
3) Not be hired just because he comes from an academic school.
4) He must be flexible in his play calling and schemes.
5) Needs a eye for diamonds in the rough.
6) Can light up a room with his energy.
7) Must be media and social media guru.
8) Conditioning and the weight room must be a top priority.
9) Needs to understand in the SEC you need enough linemen to keep a rotation the entire game.
The more common opponents Vandy plays before us the better IMO. I think Mason will show a nice blueprint for how to slow down certain offenses. It won't exactly work given their crappy roster and horrendous offense, but it will help us when reviewing tape.
The only excitement that Candy fans got all weekend was rooting against Penn St and UT because their own team sucks balls. Hell, one of their largest threads over the weekend was Penn St's loss. They have completely reverted back to their old past time of having to root against UT or Penn St to have any satisfaction because their own team doesn't win enough. F'n hilarious.
And if you really want to see some delusional idiots, check out a few of the Candy fans on twitter, most noticeably the biggest delusional idiot out there called @NashVegas69. That guy is mental. He constantly bashes UT and makes Don Yates actually seem tolerable. Hell, maybe he is Yates. What a damn loser.
He's Vandy's version of Sab. Those two actually get into it on Twitter pretty frequently. Vandy fans have definitely reverted to just cheering against us and pouncing on any bad news that comes out of Knoxville. Meanwhile they ignore the dumpster fire that is their football program.
