How do you write a love letter to a one star recruit?
Nobody else wants you . If you come here you will be elevated to diamond in the rough status. My heart will break for you if you choose one of the multiple D3 offers you have. At Vandy we will love you when we show up half way through the first quarter and until we leave at halftime. Anchor Down!
oh no doubt. You can bet as that game goes on Chubb and the gang will start ripping off huge runs consistently. Their Defense will be on the field the entire game.
After their own game turns into a laugher in the first quarter on Saturday, Vandy fans will do what they do best: give up on their own team and start cheering against UT. And apparently cherry pick stats after week two that make their team look better than the "Viles."
haha exactly. Its sad man. I mean thats so pathetic.Atleast we will have a solid chance in our game. Their game will be a laugher from the first kick and the crowd will be all UGA. SEC Nation will be there so they can get that one out of the way early. They dont wanna come back when Vandy is 1-8 or something. Im sure the crowd there will be embarrassing as well. But with their Tackle situation right now Johnny McCrary may get killed by Floyd, Carter, Jenkins and Bellamy. Im sure Mason will give his usual "were getting there" speech at his presser today and then make excuses saturday in the post game. I mean they are 21 pt underdogs right now at home with the o/u of like 54 lol. That means im lookin for a 42-10 type score. If they can even manage to get 10pts in garbage time ro something.
A couple of hilarious gems from the Vandy Mania this morning:
"After watching the Viles almost lose BG I feel good about our chances against them.
We have better players than Bowling Green, and if we can just keep the fight going through 4 quarters (instead of three like they did) I l like our chances.
Coach schemed well against them last year. If he can get a repeat performance, we'll win that game."
and
"Take a good look at ULM: That won't be us next week . . . Because the newly-restored SOV (as Albert so accurately stated) will come out next week rabid and possessed to push Georgia to the limit, will lose to Georgia by a field goal or less, JUST to f with our heads/torture us and make us think "now, why in the hell didn't we stomp the dog manure out of Western Kentucky? Man, we should have-- how ridiculous!"
Count on it, friends."
Completely delusional and in denial as usual.
Somebody brought up that fwiw, WKU beat Bowling Green 59-31 to open last season. So if I am am understanding where that person might be going with this...
WKU is much better than Bowling Green right now because they beat them last August by 28. Vanderbilt barely lost to WKU this year by 2 points and only gave up 14 points. UT gave up 30 points to the team that WKU crushed last season. Therefore, Vandy must be better than UT because they almost beat the team this season that routed BG last season.
I was at both games and my perception is that Bowling Green would beat both Vandy and WKU by 14+ if they had played either this past weekend.
One of the posters over there brought up the same thing and tried to tell them it didn't mean anything. The one reasonable poster over there I think.
Vandy OL Bernstein today " Id take Ralph Webb over Nick Chubb any day" hahaha. These guys gotta quit talking so much. They get their asses handed to them every week and they look ridiculous. Always a confident group when it comes time to talk.

BTW, I drove through Indiana during Labor Day weekend, and found myself not far from Bloomington. I thought what the heck, I'd drive by IU's campus since I like to see other programs' football and basketball stadiums.
As crappy as IU's program is, even their stadium is more impressive than Vandy's. It's obviously not much compared to most SEC and Big 10 stadiums, but even they put some pride into it and make it presentable and at least look like they try to give an experience.
It never fails, every other Power 5 FBS stadium I come across has always put Vandy's to shame.
