When she was elected to her job there was no court ruling that was forcing her to preform a service against her religious beliefs.
But she was elected and sworn to perform the duties of the office correct? Didn't say she could go off the page if she disagreed with them if they changed at a later date. I'm sorry, I am all for religious freedoms, but this case does not have a leg to stand on. Either she perform the duties of the office she was elected for, or she step down.
I don't want to club seals. If my boss came to me tomorrow and told me that my job now requires clubbing baby seals, I would quit my job.
Job descriptions change all the time.
Go back through the thread and read my postings. I stated she should resign her job or ask if any of her staff would be willing to issue the license. She would not have to issue a single license personally and still abide by the law and her religious beliefs.
Premise is faulty because there is nothing about interracial marriage being against Christian beliefs
