Wtf has happened to this world? Gender neutral UT

What's going to happen to the beloved Lady Vols when someone the hoops caliber of say Jabari Parker (nothing personal toward him) decides that they "identify as a female". Then "she" gets recruited by Holly Warlick to play for the Lady Vols?

The fools in administration won't touch this hot potato withba twn foot pole. "She" will get the red carpet rolled out by the social revolitionaries, media, and ultimately some manipulated kangaroo court / judge.
The you and I both know what happens to the women's game as this dude hangs about 60 points per game on average. Well, at least until the other programs load rosters with 6'-8" trannys.

It's over unless the gigantic majority rises up in force to stop this insanity.

Or should we take out lady from the lady vols too? You know to be gender neutral and all...

I do not know of any advice to answer your question. But if you get physical withdrawal symptoms from drinking, you probably need to be tapered off alcohol under medical supervision.

Apevol, if you have a problem with alcohol, please take this time to get a handle on it. Sober life will be better. I'm sure you're a good man, and we don't need to have another story like that of Cyclops. If you need to do it, don't put it off any longer. Please take action.

I've only ever experienced very mild withdrawal syndrome from alcohol. I've been trying to stop being drunk all the time, I was drinking 1 day, then 2 days off but I nixed that and went to every night, but a limit of six drinks, usually four.

I hope you will do something about it now. I personally know two UT alums who passed away in 2014 from alcohol induced organ failure.

Please make a sincere effort to beat this.

So much over reaction. This isn't a university mandate or policy. Just some **** a crazy person came up with. Put the pitchforks down.

It's the dumbest thing I've read today. And it's from UT. Don't need a pitchfork to make that observation.

On UT's official website...

Inclusive Practice: Pronoun Usage | Office for Diversity and Inclusion

The fact this tripe exists on the official site of the University of Tennessee is a tacit endorsement of the policy by Goldfinger and his merry band of Pronoun Policemen.

Perhaps we should give them a uniform to wear:

When do we start throwing out students and professors who dare refuse to bow to the dogma of diversity?

Let's introduce the forum to the individual who is pushing this stupidity:

This is what our university has been turned into by a leadership more concerned with controlling language than preparing students for life in a world where none of this Orwellian trash will ever be of any real value to them.

It is embarrassing to see my alma mater dragged through this insanity by people who care more for their agenda than they do for the University of Tennessee.

Yep...made international news...

University of Tennessee tells staff and students to stop using 'he' and 'she' | Daily Mail Online

A statement from a university spokesman said: 'We would like to offer clarification of the statements that have been made referring to gender-neutral language.
'There is no mandate or official policy to use the language. The information provided in our Office of Diversity and Inclusion newsletter was offered as a resource to our campus community on inclusive practices.
'We recognize that most people prefer to use the pronouns he and she; we do not dictate speech.
'We do strive to be a diverse and inclusive campus and to ensure that everyone feels welcome, accepted, and respected.'

Wouldn't it be wonderful if we had leadership at UTK that actually thought about the public reaction to their proposals before endorsing them on the official website?

When you are a social fundamentalist using the power of your office to force your values upon everyone else, then the last thing you think about in the process is the harm you do to the institution you control.

You laugh at the ridiculousness of others all day thinking it is confined pockets of craziness on select college campuses until that lunacy come to roost at your alma mater.

Really comes down to that. When you hire people who do not value or respect the institution they've been tasked to lead, your reputation gets damaged with every decision they make.

They are to the University of Tennessee what Dooley was to the football program. They wouldn't be worthy of licking the soles of Dr. Dougherty's shoes much less fill them.

This to me actually represents a kind of prejudice against trans people by assuming they can't deal with basic linguistic concepts.
