The system looks out for one another. The cops, lawyers politicians... they all have each other's back. The citizen doesn't stand a chance. The politicians make the laws, the cops enforce the laws and the judges and lawyers has everything out in their kangaroo court system that is rigged against the citizens.

So you have comparison cases of where citizens received harsher sentences for the same crime?

Can you point them out?

No, they should be held to the same standard as everyone else.

That's fair, no?

Actually, the cop, the prosecutor, and the judge form a triad against the accused. They all work for the state.

Of course the state hates when one of their own screws up, so they'll slap him on the wrists.

No... with great power comes great responsibility. Cops take an oath to defend The Constitution, yet they violate not only Constitutional law but other laws of man and get slaps on the wrist because the system protects their own.

And actually, I think if a citizen would have done the same thing, they would have gotten charged with attempted murder, so even here, he wasn't held to the same standard as everyone else.

So you don't have comparison cases to point to. Got it.

You're just *****ing to ***** at this point. I understand.

Right. My mistake. A few years in prison is a slap on the wrist. Got it.

Another example of a cop with too much time on his hands. If you know the guy isn't committing a crime, leave him alone. Stop this nonsensical "let me see your ID"/"what's your name" BS. If they don't have any probable cause or no indication a crime is being committed, these cops need to stay in their squad cars and sip coffee. Leave people alone.

IMO its mainly these younger cops that have been trained with a military mentality tattooed in their brains -- somehow it needs to change, if they want to act military then they should choose that for a career.

Here's another well known case...

Woman in SEPTA bus shooting pleads guilty - philly-archives

This woman was given 5-10 years and didn't even pull the trigger...

A 21-year-old woman who prosecutors say called in friends who strafed a SEPTA bus in an attempt to kill a passenger with whom she had argued pleaded guilty Tuesday before a Philadelphia judge in a deal that puts her prison for five to 10 years.

These are the sentences that the actual shooters got...

Lecourt has not been sentenced, and prosecutors say he will testify at the forthcoming trials of alleged accomplices Lawrence Rahyle, 19, and Keith Bellamy, 23, as well as Patterson. Rahyle and Bellamy are to go on trial Wednesday before Berry. Patterson, 23, will be tried separately later because she was arrested after the other defendants, Vedejs said.

The two gunmen seen on the video firing at the bus as it pulls away — Patterson’s cousins Karon, 20, and Raheen, 22 — each pleaded guilty in May and are serving sentences of 15 to 30 years.

Don't start that ****. Debate or gtfo

Just telling the truth. I do feel sorry for his illogical hated. I can't understand how someone could never even consider the other side and always reach for some fault in anything on the subject. But anyway...

So he went to jail. Or is going. But that's not good enough for some of you. You clamor for justice and for LE to be held accountable when they screw up. So this guy did and was, but it's still not good enough.

This is no pleasing you all sometime.

I showed you 2 examples where civilians were given much stiffer penalties for doing the same thing this scumbag cop did.

Don't attack me for highlighting the dbl std.

Oh I'm fine with him being taken off the streets, never to have the power of the badge again.

The point remains, as in the Kelly Thomas case those cops walked after they beat him to death.

Cops aren't held accountable until their crimes are so egregious they can't help but put them away.
