I think it's highly likely that Western Kentucky rolls in their and spanks that @#%. Vegas has them at O/U 3 wins. They better not sleep on the Hilltoppers or that's gonna be a definite UNDER.

I'm trying to accurately gauge when Vandy's suckage will no longer be endlessly amusing to me. I feel like each year of the James Franklin era has given me at least 5 years of schadenfreude, so I expect to stop caring and laughing around 2030.

thats how it is for me. I used to not really care but then i saw how they acted when they had 3 decent yrs. Now that has crumbled and its back to the suckage we have seen for decades. But its the way those cocky ass 12 fans acted that makes me hate them so much more now. Gonna love watching them get their ass kicked weekly just like i did last season.

If VM is anything to go by, then Vandy's biggest offseason victory is the fact that Derek Mason no longer sounds like a complete blubbering fool in front of a microphone.

and they have all their eggs in the andy ludwig basket. But they still have the same crappy offensive players so i dont get it? Their 3rd OC in 3 yrs. Thats never good.

haha of course they do. You can tell the season is close. They are trying to convince themselves they will be good but deep down they know the reality.

I'm seeing a lot more 6-6 and bowl game predictions over there with one guy saying 6-6 isn't even overly ambitious. You know with 6 wins, by default in their minds that means UK and yewtee are wins. Their team practices against themselves and they are suddenly all the cliche diamonds in the rough.

that defense that gave up 33ppg is all of a sudden the steel curtain at practice apparently. Probably bc that offense they see everyday is among the 5-10 worst in the country. But they dont wanna talk about that. I cant imagine what their 2nd and 3rd team practice offense looks like. It has to be absolute trash.

nope...what i heard on the radio yesterday from adam sparks (their beat writer) is that its a 2 man race between freebeck and mcCrary. He said there hasnt been any separation from any one of those guys yet. Either way, both of those guys are terrible.

They think 6-6 is possible for themselves but also think that UT will be lucky to make a bowl. The cognitive dissonance is incredible. They don't have better coaching and they don't have a better roster. So how will their record be better again?

They just consistently throw the old OC and DC under the bus and put 100% blame on those guys. IN NO WAY does any of the blame land on the head coach from last year who is still the head coach this year with even more responsibility now.

exactly. Those Coordinators were garbage but the problem here is they still have the same players who could not complete a pass and the same clueless Head Coach. The same OL that has been terrible for 2 yrs and the same running game that was last in the league in rushing the last 2 yrs. I dont get it.

I like how on VM, when making predictions, almost every poster has to take a shot a uut. Whether it be saying we're too hyped, we'll get upset by them (LMAO), or that we'll be lucky to make a bowl, etc.

Meanwhile, we hate Bama a lot, but we're still realistic with our predictions about them.

It's like Vandy fans don't think they can be fans of vandy without taking a shot at the Viles.
