Looks like Brent Hubbs heard what I heard. From Hubbs, just now:

As we noted yesterday, the timeline we were told was that Pearson's camp felt he could be reinstated in 24-48 hours. John and I have been working the story today and have been told that Pearson has been involved in conversations with University officials. We continue to hear the timeline remains and that things are moving in a positive direction for Von. It will not be a surprise if Pearson is back on the the practice field rejoining his teammates by weeks end.

I was told by a current player he may be back tomorrow but definitely Saturday!!

Bet he's the most focused and thankful player on the team...after this ordeal.

UT has painted itself into a corner, really. Chris Coffey has the media drooling for headlines, donors are making their displeasure known, fans are using social media as a weapon and the threat of escalation looms large. Ridiculous for all parties that it had to play out this way.

And Josh Smith, and Ethan Wolf!!!

People are over looking Josh Smith. He was the best looking wide receiver before his injury last year if you ask me. I still remember his hurdle like it was yesterday. This is the most excited I've been in a long, long time for the season to start.

yep he was the most complete receiver we had before injury and hes one of the fastest. Even Azzani said that when he went down. He can play inside and outside and hes big now. he is almost 210lbs.

Can't be good... he's got melanin deficiency disorder. Automatically makes a 4.4 40, a 4.8 40.

The attorneys on the board have tried to straighten you out, but you don't seem to understand. Stick to numbers and leave criminal law to those who have been trained in the subject.

I beg to differ, kind sir. On the contrary, I think Face's comments have been clear, informative and have, constructively, added to the discussion. BTW, just my opinion; oughta' be yours.... HA!!!

Thanks pepper. I assumed his comments were sarcasm, but sometimes it's hard to tell.

And my posts were probably not perfect, but criminal law was included in my required education.

You are most welcome, my friend. My favorite cousin was a CPA, so, I knew you had some criminal law in your background.

Wonder how many times Butch will make him climb the bleachers at Neyland? His legs may look like K-Mac's before its over!

None. The lack of evidence leads most to presume innocence. If there were a lesson to be learned in all of this, I'm sure he's learned it.

This ×1000. If this ordeal hasn't taught him any necessary lessons he would have to be incapable of learning them anyway.

Innocent of what?

Rape...Probably
Indecent exposure...Maybe
Putting himself and the team in a tough spot...I don't think so

Because you were there? He was at his apartment with a girl that was originally there under her own free will. What happened after that point is unknown. The fact that her story is uncorroborated (by any evidence whatsoever) points towards his innocence. Should he never date? Should he not have females at his place? What position did he put himself in?

You guys kill me! You would argue to the death with a brick wall over a meaningless point...Last time I checked, this is America and I'm entitled to my opinion just like you are. So, feel free to stick your head in the sand:fool:

Paul Finebaum just said it was up to the students on Von whether would return. ( student conduct council...not sure what the correct name is)
