PW's situation would have concerned me greatly a few years ago. Not anymore. JJ - 'nuff said.

The retake date really isn't clear in what Hyams reported below. Hyams says the test date will be set within 2 weeks. That really doesn't say he will take the test within 2 weeks.

This really is unfair to Williams in that the Clearinghouse should have flagged this weeks ago instead of days before practice starts. They had to have known this for a while. :loco:

The NCAA Clearinghouse red-flagged Williams' ACT score after a significant jump. His date to retake is expected to be set within 2 weeks.

SIAP, just saw a tweet that Mosley snitched on Oliver?

Well it's Mosley or the guilty party, Oliver. No one in their right mind should give up their own future because someone else messed up. Thats jmo. Now if no ones future was on the line then yes I can see the issue

Are these tests not given in a testing center and proctored?

How does one cheat in that setting?

Most times these are taken at the high school with your own teachers. Not the first athlete or teacher to be accused of cheating on these.

I thought they posted that after the Oliver news, didn't they? As in something else besides Bruce and Oliver?

I think you are thinking about the tweet posted from Swain about possibly hearing some more bad news about another FR.

Glad I wasn't an athlete.

I took a couple shots to loosen up before my 2nd attempt and did significantly better.

No. I was thinking about OV. But I just looked back at it. And nashvegas was right. He was apparently referring to Oliver. Apologies, gentlemen, for the misaimed thoughts.

Espn crawler is stating Ohio state players were all suspended for Marijuana or academics.

How bad were their grades or how many tests did they fail for Urban to actually do something?

Wow. Even with their pansy assed schedule, I'm not sure even OSU can make it to the NC game with their whole team suspended. :)

Sub 1.0 GPA (meaning never showing up for class...they took Cardale's comment about school serious) and 10+ failed drug tests. IMO.

Damn, if it ain't one thing it's a mothertruckin 'nother. Word to my granny and my daddy and my mother. Wisdom from Snoop

GBO!!!!

I studied and did significantly better

Heh.

Probably a better plan, but unfortunately my math skills were (are?) beyond studying into shape. The hooch calmed me down enough to nail the writing/social studies/science areas of the test. Thankfully learned to handle test anxiety at UT, so I'd never do that again but I guess I'd say that about a lot of things I did at 18.

Nick, the reason it takes months is that it goes into a investigation stage. During this stage they are comparing handwriting between tests and ensuring security procedures were followed.

In these cases they have looked at both ACT/SAT scores and compared these scenarios as well. End summary, they don't make you take the validation test unless something has been found or suspect.

Here is the deal, I'm not saying the young man cheated but if you are going to cheat. Cheat on the first test and never take another. With only one test there has never been a case of having to take a validation test.

Wait a sec....what handwriting?

I'm honestly asking, as I'm not sure I remember writing anything on my ACT. Maybe I'm mistaken but I thought it was all bubbles.

IIRC you write your name on it. And if hat's their basis, they need to be flogged.
