Von Pearson Update

Maybe they don't announce that a case is closed unless an accuser drops the issue. I really have no idea how they handle the cases, but the statute of limitations, I would assume, is one year from the night of the incident.

Since there is not any new info why not discuss the reasons why the case is still open? I see it as still relevant to the thread. It's a discussion based message board and we are discussing the case. Carry on

Butch's investigation can't be controlled by the KPD investigation or a University Title IX investigation and vice versa.

The thing is that CBJ shouldn't have to be investigating anything other than the opposing teams' offensive and defensive schemes right now.

Too many distractions.

Yeah, yeah, these kids, raging hormones, poor judgement, wrong place, yada yada.

Can we just get ready to play some SEC football?

This really needs to be complete over by football season. I heard the other day that the AJ Johnson trial was going to happen in August and September. Hopefully since he is no longer on the team it won't effect the teams concentration.

He is innocent until proven guilty, but there can be repercussions for simply being accused. This reminds of the "free speech" advocates that get angry when someone is fired or ostracized for publicly voicing an opinion. Certainly, they can voice their opinion, but it may come at a cost.

Same thing here. He hasn't been jailed or even charged, but that doesn't mean their are no consequences.

Sure. But you are speaking objectively about what actually happens; the people you are "arguing with" are speaking normatively about what SHOULD happen.

Vons ordeal should be wrapped up by the end of the weekend.

I'm not sure quite how to take that "info"........

using a quote from Monday night Football..................."Could go either way!!!"

Who if I remember correctly got publicly called out and ripped for lying about Gruden coming here...so...

Don't know the context of what you're specifically talking about, but:

1. Lots of people were wrong about Gruden
2. That was a while ago

Guilty should be goodbye and grow from experience...not guilty should be welcome home...reguardless this years team will exceed expectations...like farmer Charlie says..."experience is what you get...just after you need it".

I don't recall Hubbs ever saying that Gruden was coming. He said there was interest. Bent Hobbs may have predicted Gruden to Tennessee.

:yahoo: Amazed - worst thread ever has now gone GRUDEN.:pepper:
I saw it coming.. was just a matter of time.
