Your faux skepticism is really only stage 2 climate denial. Some on this board have literally denied the existence of the greenhouse effect and/or change in global temperature, but most of you have at least moved on to stage 3.The question has to be asked again: who is denying climate change?
The skepticism is over whether or not man's activities are affecting the climate a little, a lot, or not at all.
extremely likely meaning >95% chanceAnthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions have increased since the pre-industrial era, driven largely by economic and population growth, and are now higher than ever. This has led to atmospheric concentrations of carbon dioxide, methane and nitrous oxide that are unprecedented in at least the last 800,000 years. Their effects, together with those of other anthropogenic drivers, have been detected throughout the climate system and are extremely likely to have been the dominant cause of the observed warming since the mid-20th century.

On that note...
Stop using China as an excuse for inaction on climate change
Oh yeah, and
China's climate change plan is going to cost $6.6 trillion
America is getting left in the dust
"faux skepticism"? No, it's real, and it tells me that you're as FOS as Al Gore. Especially when you pretend to support "market based" solutions like cap and trade.
Was Ronald Reagan 'as FOS as Al Gore'? After all, the Reagan administration invented cap-and-trade to curb lead pollution. Reagan also signed the Montreal Protocol. His successor, Bush, implemented cap-and-trade to fight acid rain. The GOP didnt flip-flop on cap-and-trade until Obama got elected. Why the hate for cap-and-trade?"faux skepticism"? Top carbon polluter China confirmed it will try to cap its rising emissions before 2030 while the U.S. and Brazil pledged to boost renewable energy sources in a series of announcements Tuesday in anticipation of a global climate pact in Paris.
South Korea, Serbia and Iceland also presented climate targets for the deal that's supposed to be adopted in December as part of a U.N. effort to protect the planet from global warming.
Countries representing more than half of global emissions of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases have now announced their targets, leaving India as the only major polluter that still hasn't come forward with a pledge.
In a submission to the U.N., China repeated an earlier pledge to achieve a peak in emissions around 2030 and promised its "best efforts" to make it earlier. Beijing, which releases more than one-quarter of the world's CO2 emissions, also confirmed it will try to increase the share of "non-fossil fuels," meaning renewable and nuclear energy, in its energy mix to 20 percent by 2030.
In a new element, China pledged to reduce its carbon intensity emissions per unit of gross domestic product by 60-65 percent by 2030 from 2005 levels.

I've been baking in the New Mexico desert the past two weeks -- hard to believe it's even hotter back in Washington right now. Be careful out there folks. Heat is one of nature's silent killers...
GENESEO, Ill. For corn growers throughout the Corn Belt, cool and damp weather presents concerns with their emerging crop.

Personally, I would prefer a revenue-neutral (heck, revenue-negative) carbon tax swap. Cut capital gains and payroll taxes, put a price on pollution. Its simple. It's sensible. It could be part of a broad tax reform. Conservatives should get behind this

So how long before we start hearing "Global warming stopped in 2015"?
