If LeBron manages to win this title, it would be his single greatest achievement and there isn't a close second. Nobody on his team right now would start for Golden State. Further, some of Golden State's backups would likely start for Cleveland. What LeBron is doing is unreal.

I will never consider myself a fan of LeBron (nor do I hate him), but I am enjoying the show he's putting on right now.

Mosgov would start no questions about that. So would Thompson.

You can't say "no questions about that" Mozgov was well on his way to being a bust at every other stop. If Mozgov didn't have Lebron elevating his game, he wouldn't be close to the Finals. Meanwhile, Bogut was 2nd Team All-NBA Defense this year. I'm a Cavs fan, but I can admit Mozgov has just recently become this good. And Kerr wants a stretch 4 starting, so I doubt he'd start Thompson.

All lebron is doing is hitting him when he cuts. What is lebron elavating?

A stretch 4 is Dirk ,kg and the guy that plays for the trail blazers. Green would rather be inside or on the run. He is like 2 for 20 on his 3 point attempts this series.

Also 2nd team all defense for bogut is a joke. He also is bringing nothing on the offensive side of the floor.

You're right, it is a joke - he should have been first team. Second best defensive rating in the NBA, behind only Kawhi Leonard. Draymond Green was fourth. Other defensive metrics are similarly fond of these guys.

If your argument was that Mozgov and Thompson were outplaying Bogut and Green in the Finals, then I'd give you that. They absolutely are. But they aren't better players.

When Lebron left the Heat they only won 34 games. When MJ left the Bulls the first time they still won 55 games. People seem to forget that Pippen and Rodman were hall of famers. That Bulls was better than the Heat if you took out their superstars.

Always more behind the numbers. Chris Bosh had blood clots and missed most of the season. Wade is aging and was better a few years ago. Just not as simple as you suggest.

Agree to disagree. Change in playing style helps players out.

Statistically, its not close. Lebron's Teams <<<<<< Jordan's teams. And, if you do a bit more digging on 538, you can find more numbers that show Jordan has also beaten less talented opponents in the finals. Argue all you want about statistics being skewed for Lebron (they aren't, its 538 after all) or that Jordan would've done the same or won more with his teams (Tip, he didn't win a playoff series till Pippen, Lebron carried the Cavs in 07 to the finals.)

This really isn't an argument at this point. To this time in their careers Lebron > Jordan. And if Lebron wins this series, with no Love or Kyrie and a JV squad otherwise, against one of the 10 greatest teams of all time in GS statistically, only the people who hate Lebron can argue he's not as good or better than Jordan. And even those people have to put him #2.

Where This Year’s Cavs Rank Among LeBron
Stats or not. Lebron is no MJ. Jordan (I hated him) is the greatest player of all time. Most of those arguing for Lebron did not see Jordan play. I've seen Lebron mail it in before, that's something Jordan never did.

1. Get handed a check for $200MM for doing absolutely nothing.

2. B!tch because it isn't a $300MM check.

3. 'murica

Pretty much. You can lobby and campaign till you are blue in the face for the wages you earn though and I will fight alongside you but Lottery... C'mon. Stupid people who buy lottery religiously are just feeding the state and local and federal governments. Such an easy "tax."

For the record, I've never bought a lottery ticket in my life - thanks if you have, though, the hope scholarship was CLUTCH - and I'm not that opposed to taxation on lottery winnings since no real work and only a minimal investment was required. I do think the rate is stupid high, though.

PS - $200M seems like a lot of money because it is...but just wait until you have to get a team of accountants, lawyers, tax planners, and investment guys just to take care of it...all of whom will want a piece...all of which will not come cheap. More money, more problems is literally true. That being said, I certainly wouldn't turn it down.

Are you saying the entire league is down? Because G St. has been considered one of the best teams, if not the best, in the league this year.

The NBA is a joke now..they actuslly used to play Basketball...teams you younguns wouldn't put on a "great" list because of "stats" would gave destroyed any team in the current NBA..The Spurs were the exeption over the last decade or so...There are no Ewings, Akeems, Barkleys, Paytons or Drexlers anymore...Lebron is great. He is a legend. But he would have suffered the same fate as all those other legends against Jordans Bulls. It is hard to quantify with just stats, but Jordan was just a ruthless killing machine..LeBron is awesome, but Jordan he ain't. And he never will be. Nothing he does will change that.
