If the doggies could just go 8-4 this year so he would see they don't have as much bite in them as he thinks.
I'm kind of surprised here, he was really big on UT. Wonder if something has changed in his recruitment, maybe possible position questions, or he wants something else. I was thinking he wanted to be on O, and we like him at Wr.
Maybe he just wanted a UGA offer or they offered him more money since we actually built a full size practice facility
Record doesnt matter. If we beat them it wont matter.
Richt has been underachieving from day 1 and he still recruits like a champ. They could only win 4 games and he will still pull in a top 5 class.
That's where Tennessee differs from FL and UGA. They are going to get big time players every single year barring a HC change. They are LOADED with instate kids. We are not that lucky.
With the departure of Coach Larry Knight to GSU this really hurts the recruitment of Hardman, Coach Knight was very close with him and his family

This is a fallacy. The state of Tennessee is producing a lot of very good BCS level players. The explosion of the midstate population has really helped.
You combine that population increase with an influx of former D1 players getting into coaching on the HS level, the Titans, D1 training center, NPA's work and you have a recipe for a significant increase in talent in the Nashville Metro area.
The 2017 class could end up with 15+ players in the top 300 in the country. 2018 is shaping up to be a very strong year as well.
We should take groves and replace with hardman if we get the chance. I reserve all judgement on hardmans recruitment until after the Georgia game, which as usual has the chance to be the biggest recruiting weekend of the year for us. We'll see.
If a recruit determines were he will spend his next 4 years on the outcome of 1 game...we will probably be better off without him....:hi:
Recruits won't do that , people keep thinking the winner determines where the Ga swing recruits go. As long as UT has a good season, it doesn't matter. A 7-5 UT team with a win over a 9-3 UGA wont change anything either. Getting in that upper echelon and battling for the East is all Ut needs, not a win against UGA
