I remember watching the Elite11 Ferg participated in. I had an uneasy feeling about him after the show. I liked that he played through an injury, but they made it a point to show that he struggled to get the plays down.

I do give him props for owning a bad decision and not blaming it on others.

"Sometimes," he said, "I look back and wished I would've stayed (at Tennessee) because I would've played this year and maybe last year, too. I liked the school, but I was kind of immature about a lot of things when I was there. I hadn't grown up yet."

Truth is he'd have been backup QB to Dobbs and would have definitely seen the field this coming year.

He has twice the work to put in now than he would have had he stayed.

There was a placed called Family's in Adana that was pretty good.

Also, played a LOT of golf when I was there. How do you like it?

I'm not sure about "Family's" but there is a place that is pretty popular called "Friend's". I'm not sure if they are connected? I'm in the CS too. Turkey is a great place with a lot of potential. The people are friendly and the history is amazing. These parts are still a little slow to develop when compared to places like Istanbul and Izmir, but the slow pace is nice sometimes. Dealing with the Turkish government is probably the only gripe I have here.

Edit: My other gripe is dealing with the Gator fans a couple houses down, but that's not Turkey's fault.

Had he stayed and gotten his act together he would have had Dobbs' starts last year and might even be the 2015 starter.

TN would not have all three signees at QB. Things apparently worked out well for TN with RF deciding to bolt.

Agreed. After traveling all over the world several times, Gator fans have this annoying character flaw where they pop up from time to time to be obnoxious. Kind of like a mosquito.

Lmao talked to some guy who does some recruiting in this area lastnite came into my work.We were just talking football and Ut,well somehow we got on the subject of Riley Ferguson.Dude tried to tell me that if Riley was still at Ut he woulda beaten Dobbs out by now.Then goes to tell me that Florida is gonna pursue him or something.Did he go Juco or what??Havent read bak thru his thread.I havent been keeping tabs on the kid so im not sure what hes doing.Just my lil cool story felt like sharing......

I believe he is going to JUCO.

Charlotte wouldn't take him for some reason.

Ferguson is an arm. Maybe he becomes a QB but IMO Dobbs still would have been the man due to his mobility, intelligence, teamwork, and leadership.

I heard that Charlotte didn't have a helmet big enough that he could get his head into it. Anyone else hear that?
