Ukraine Protests

RT posters are now referring to Saudi Arabia as "Ziodi Arabia" and calling the Saudis Zionists.

Never a dull moment over at that freak show they call a "news source."

Lol! May wanna see the map of NATO expansion since the Soviet Union collapsed before y'all go on...

Darn those countries free will. Darn them for not wanting to fall under Russia's sway or serve as Russia's border. As soon as the curtain fell all of the rats (not hating just using an analogy) abandoned ship. No one wants to be part of that mess. How many of those nations kept good relations? Here is a hint: the land locked ones with no one else to trade with.

Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Yugoslavia, Ukraine.

Enough?

For the most part the former Yugoslavia has been pretty peaceful since NATO intervention. There have been several successful countries that developed from the result of it.

Also guess what popped up in today's pro-government rally in Macedonia? Oh yes, Russian and Serbian flags and icons.

Better question is how many of them aren't just a complete cluster **** of country since NATO and American involvement?

That's what's funny...

I know what you mean, and I don't think adding most of those countries (with the exception of Poland and maybe one or two others) was a good idea. I think that adding most of those countries really only weakened the alliance.

That being said, two things about your comments regarding the countries you mentioned above:

1. Thinking of any of those nations or their successor states (former Yugoslavia) as US or NATO puppets is incorrect. Yes, some of the former Yugoslavia is NATO now, but I don't see what that has to do with US meddling. In fact, just in the case of Iraq, it is now much more in bed with Iran than the US. And the Afghanistan govt., while it's a bit better than Karzai, who was fiercely anti-American (bizarre given we helped bring him to power), is still not exactly what I would consider pro-US. Neutral is a better term for describing Afghanistan.

2. All of those nations you mentioned have always been and will always be monumental "cluster****s," to use your terminology. While US involvement may have exacerbated things in Iraq, I hardly see how you can blame the cluster****s that have always been cluster****s on the US or US meddling. As I see it, it's just the latest iteration (out of many) of historical cluster****ing we're witnessing in those nations.

Slovenia and Croatia, both previously part of Yugoslavia.

Montenegro, Macedonia, and Bosnia/Herzegovina all in process of applying for NATO membership were part of Yugoslavia.

Slovenia and Croatia are also EU members and the rest (Serbia) included are also interested in becoming EU states. Not to mention Kosovo is doing okay as well. For the most part I would say that NATO interventions in the Balkans turned out positive.

I think it was Rand Paul who was quoted as saying something along the lines of "wasnt the Middle East a more stable place before our meddling and ousting of Sadaam and Gaddafi?"

If our purpose in invading these countries and ousting their leaders isn't to make it, simply, a BETTER place, then why are extremist running those countries now? It's absolutely a slap in the face to Americans that died for WHAT?!?

Want to know why those former Warsaw Pact countries wanted to join NATO before you show us that map?

Actually I look a lot like the guy in the chair......do you resemble the cat fished guy laughing out loud?!

Deflection, nice.

So again, why did those former Warsaw Pact countries want to join NATO? Could it have been protection against a resurgent Russia? Or because they had lived under Soviet occupation for so long they didn't want it again?

They had no choice. That simple..

Yep, because NATO was about to invade.

In the midst of the largest draw down of military forces in Europe since WWII, those nations feared Western Europe.

I'll say it again, I like the fact you have a sense of humor.

In short, I don't blame them. What's it going to take for America and their western cronies to back off? They are being suffocated in every way possible..

America is offering another loan guarantee to Ukraine.

Russia has no choice but to build more nuclear missiles.

The most vocal anti-Moscow and pro-West voices have come from former Warsaw Pact countries.

The Baltics, Poland and Ukraine.

That should tell you a lot.
