If you're dumb enough to flip off a cop then you deserve the consequences.... It's not rocket science.
It's no different than flipping off someone in traffic..... They might just ignore you, give you one back or they might follow you and beat your ass...
Whether the cop can legally do anything to you is beside the point.....the first thing that he thinks is " look at this smart ass MF here"
The point is I have zero and I mean zero problem with what that cop did.....the guy was being a jack&ss and the cop called him on it....he didn't give him a citation, arrest him, beat him, tazer him or anything else....I know u feel it is a stepping stone to the cop doing some of the above but I do not.
Speaking of home invasions. Kind of related to the current topic.

Kinda shocked this kind of article was shown on TV. I couldn't imagine it being shown on a channel in NYC or Chicago.

Were you expecting something along these lines?

Are you going to answer the question or still deflect? It is most certainly a valid comparison.
A lot of you guys promote personal responsibility..... That is until the cops are involved.
For a civilian, it goes without saying that we should be accountable. We're asking for the cops to be personally accountable, as well. Its a two way street. Unfortunately, they seem to be accountable to no one.A lot of you guys promote personal responsibility..... That is until the cops are involved.
That's hilarious cause there was only one person in that situation was free from responsibility for their actions.
If the kid had been free to leave with (a) no threat of violence or (b) an opportunity to defend himself if violence was used against him, then I absolutely wouldn't have cared.
Sure.... A cashier at a grocery store to a cop.... I know the path you want to go down..... That if the customer gave the cashier the bird and the cashier responded by giving the customer a hard time they'd be fired.....maybe..... Maybe not . If I owned the store I don't want someone that treats my employees like that coming in. Has the employee worked for me a while? Do I know them to be a good employee in general? If so, I'd be more likely to side with them and tell the customer to take their business somewhere else.
I've done this more than once in my office.
Now I'd like you to tell me how the job duties of a cashier compare to those of a police officer?
He wouldn't have been able to walk away from the tongue lashing... you know good and damn well that those cops would have tried to pin a resisting arrest/fleeing the scene charge on him. That is why they so cleverly had the seat belt violation so quickly pulled out of their arses.
