Agree, just speaking on the place itself, not as if Barnes doesn't have a good history with bigs.

Yeah, the city of Louisville is nothing to see honestly. Barnes has a history with bigs, but the specific success of young men from the same background as Ado has to be appealing. I mean, LaMarcus Aldridge and Gorgui Dieng are from different sides of the tracks.

If I were going over to Europe to be a soccer player in their collegiate system (just as an example), and there was a specific coach with a history of putting American players in the English Premier League, I'd certainly give them a hard look based on that fact alone.

It's not as if Lousiville, KY is UCLA or UNLV in terms of places everyone wants to go see either though.

This. I go to Louisville a couple times a year and every time I leave I thank God I make it out without getting shot lol. The only good thing to do in Louisville as a college student is go to 4th street and hit up all of the bars. The strip in Knoxvegas is more fun imo. Plus the last time I went to Louisville, BadJerry followed me and stalked me the whole time.

An assistant of Barnes made contact with him today face to face in Chattanooga

@Future150: 2016 C Abdul Ado (TN) met with Tennessee today.

Louisville is not that bad lol. What an overreaction.

Chris, I agree with what you are saying. However, I do want to point out that Barnes has also had success with foreign players. Tristan Thompson, Corey Joseph, and Myck Kabongo were all Canadian, but Kabongo was born in Zaire. Sure, some will say Canada isn't much different than the U.S., but Austin, Texas is different than parts of Canada. Also, Prince Ibeh was mostly raised in Texas but is of Nigerian descent and was born in London. And, he had a guard from Turkey several years ago who contributed. Just wanted to add that.
