Bring Back Pearl!!!

Like in the FF and its Fulmer Xravaganza thread --- the BB forum needs a Pearl Xravaganza thread now

I don't think we should bring back Pearl for a host of reasons. But as has been discussed on here in another thread, ESPN ran an article during the conference tourney saying that Pearl was the best coach in Nashville. The guy has issues, and for UT he would carry a lot of baggage, but the sob can coach.

Whoa.... This tread is full of them today..: fire Donny... hire pearl ...pearls a bum...hire Hunter... Who cares if he's never really won but one game of importance ... oh wait I know tyler summit ...: Great kid I agree .... Regardless of the fact that he's never won one men's basketball game coaching .... As the proverb says "you can't make this stuff up"....yada yada yada yada...: and we keep having people say things are starting to look like we're losing our coach ...that's the funniest one ... Things look like they did two months ago so let's wait for another two or three months and see what happens....remind me to never hire any of you guys to run my company!!!!!

If you didn't see Ron Hunter's speech after the loss yesterday it was moving and the guy has character. He's going to get some calls very soon.

Not going to happen. The guy can't coach without falling down and breaking something. Look big time universities have a certain criteria for hiring coaches. I don't think Hunter fits the role. Has nothing to do with the guy's skin tone. He doesn't have the resume that a power conference school wants...now that may have changed had he advanced deep in the tournament. I watched the guy coach...and quite frankly imho he is closer to Bozo the Clown than Coach K...just speaking truth here.

Hunter's success at Ga State is due to his son RJ. Once he's gone, so be will the wins. Ron Hunter is not a Power 5 caliber coach.

Because if ESPN says it, it must be true.

You guys can have Pearl...I'll take Gregg Marshall...he'd coach Pearl into a stupor...I'm serious...make him look like a junior high coach
