I think a better analogy might be, Foster would have 2000 yards against BG's defense.

I'm a Noob here at VN so, forgive my jumping right into the fray.
I would like us to pursue a top 20 ( 15? ) OC before we consider Gus. Gus may do a great job, but if he falters , the criticism could cost Coach Fulmer his job (a-la houston Nutt - although that debacle was not directly malzahn's fault ). i'm just thinking this might be the time for an 'Elite' move of hiring a good BCS conference OC before we no longer have that luxury.

he may be a "high school" guy, but wow, his numbers speak for themselves. We may be stupid if we have a chance at this guy and don't take it. I'm just sayin'......

welcome Jiff. If i may, I'm assuming the debacle was also broyles' fault in your opinion. I would agree with that, but malzahn definitely stoked the fire.
