Butch is shady, you know. No telling what that slimy man will do next.

Just for you Leb, that mirrors what you've been preaching about our coach for a long while now. Ya should be happy with that post.

I'm hopin this was just for Leb and posed to be in blue font for the common normal folk on here with common sense.?.?

Unfortunately, it's Leb doing what he does best...take the opposite view of the consensus, and then argue it for the next 500 posts. The threads have gotten so much easier to read, since I hit that little "ignore" button beside his name. Hate to ignore any poster, but his garbage became ridiculous.

I have noticed that about once in every 5000 posts for LV that he will make a post that makes sense and that's not argumentative. He is ignored by a lot of people but he still gets quoted way too much which leaves his posts out there to be seen.

And there we have it. Agree completely with both of you. A couple of years ago I was one that would take up for LV's right to say what he wanted, despite how ridiculous it may seem, when Ron had called him out and put him on Ignore. Ron was right. LV was developing the character he wanted to play on here and it was in full bloom through this year's recruiting cycle. Other posters need to quit taking the bait so we don't see the quotes since the board doesn't have the feature to ignore them (the quotes) as well. I am even to the point of placing some the major responders to his posts on Ignore if they don't add much to the content. I've had enough.

Imo that's just not an option at this point.

After thinking it over, I'd probably go all in for either Surratt(NC) or Wallace(TN) for our 2016 QB. If it plays out where UT wants 2, IMO Oden would be a reasonable take as well.

Why is it that every one of your opinions is ass backwards from every one else's on this board?

You just can't be worried about not falling in line with the group. This has a Gibson feel to it. Imo, best to just focus on other quality QB options. Yes, it was me bucking the opinion of "the board" on that one as well. It happens at times.

After looking at Oden a little more imo he's slid down my list a bit. That 64 of 144 passing kinda sticks out to me. The fact he could hula hoop with a cheerio doesn't help. As a late #2 if Jones walks, maybe. If just taking 1, I need to see better performance to date. Jmo

I'm working on not quoting as much...hard habit to break. :good!:

Me too.... Don't know if arguing will help some action to finally be taken, or if just ignoring him will stop it. We need to make it a sticky and "must read" for everyone to ignore him. Might not work but I know it would just kill him to have no replies to the BS. It's his whole life.

So any news here or are we talking in circles with Leb?

We were talking QBs for a while, then the usual LV is the devil crowd showed up. Hopefully they focus a bit more on staying on topic. LOL

As for JG, we'll know more once he takes a couple more visits. His last one to Rutgers after NSD seems to have them in the lead. His dad playing there probably has him leaning that way.

OSU board thinks he is all Rutgers. Last post on their board said JG had made 2 visits to Rutgers 8 days apart following NSD. OSU fans think they are pushing for Haskins or won't take a QB at all in 2016. TIFWIW

Imo he looks like a much more capable QB. A lot more TDs than turnovers. Imo a recipe for winning.

Stats can be misleading, especially for high school QBs. The differences in competition and offensive talent that surrounds them (help) can be vastly different.

I'm looking forward to seeing what Wallace looks like this season, but from what I saw last year live, I wasn't very impressed.

I agree it's not everything. I like what I see though. 65% passer, almost 3000 yards, 4to1(26/6) TD/INT ratio. Ran for another 228. Also 1st year QB at the school after transferring. Imo, lots to build off of.

They probably have confidence in Haskins because next year they have graduating or leaving for draft Miller and, Jones then they would be left with Barret whose durability might be in question, Burrow and a TG who might be a QB prospect or not. I think they will go through with fall evaluation especially on TG before they decide to not take anyone.
