Speaking of dirty hits Rusty....I got hit by one of the
Wisconsin fans when they where doing their little
dance around thing in the 4th quarter...

Come on- why don't these Wisconsin fans learn how to play football in the SEC? Do they want to play the pansie version of football or the real deal? We play it right in the SEC!!

don't get mad at UT because donovan was a cocky big 10 QB who tried to be too much of a hero, and probably got away with a lot of those dangerous runs in conference play. IMAO i think its funny that we ended our season hitting very agressively vs. Wiscy after beginning it playing like wusses vs. Cal. in guess people have forgotten how hard UT could hit back in the late '90s.

I've been really excited about the defense the last two games. It's good to hear someone complaining about the hard hits. Just shows we're finally starting to get back to form on defense. Berry had a great game, but I think Mayo rocked! He seemed to be in on almost every tackle, and I saw one close up on TV where he looked so intense it was almost scary. Hope he stays around for another year.

Slobberknocking football, UT style. Yeah, baby!!! :rock:

No cheap shots---just hard football---it's a tough sport in the SEC. Go have some beer and cheese and forget about it.

Actually, that was the way they hit and played when they were playing for the National Championship. You are suppose to play hard physical football, thats why they put all that equipment on. This was not a track meet!:peace2:

Hopefully you didn't have the misfortune I did.....

my seats were right next to the Wisconson student body, and they have to be the worst football fans I've ever seen (yes, even worse than LSU).

They were rude, EXTREMELY vulgar, and their stupid little chants made absolutely 0 reference or affiliation to football in any remote way.

The one tidbit I did enjoy about it was that I got to heckle them and mess up their chants. There were several times throughout the game where myself and a group of about 20 other vols around me made the BADgers chant "Wisconson sucks!" Their reaction after realizing what they said was priceless. I don't know how we avoided a fistfight, but it was so worth it

I went to the SEC CG and though LSU fans were some of the coolest fans I have ever been around. I made some LSU friends and they told other LSU fans they were gonna adopt me.:)FL is the worst hands down.

My logic in this is I live in the gator nation (which I really hate) but I've seen how they are with big rivalries such as FL. But I would agree that FL fans are pretty bad too. I stayed in Gainsville for a few days before the game, and almost got in a fight in Wal-Mart because I had a UT hat on.... then that night we went to a club and someone else tried to fight me for the same reason. Darn drunks....

I saw this somewhere,and although it wasnt in reference to football I think it fits lol.Maybe this is how they like to play in Wisc.
