Am I the only one who thought the Vols had some dirty hits in the bowl game? It seemed like they were intent on delivering shots to the head and/or late hits, especially to the other QB. I'm all for aggressive play, but that was too much. The academic suspensions were embarrassing enough: you don't needs play like that to raise additional "character" issues about the program on a national stage.

Uh, Welcome to the SEC. If you can't play with the big boys don't ask to play. That's all

Tennessee didn't play "cheap" or "dirty." They played physical. That's the way football is supposed to be played - especially at schools like Tennessee. To question the character of UT's players for playing with intensity and physicality is ridiculous.

neither hit was a helmet to helmet. get out of here w/ that crap. i did however enjoy seeing their qb stumble around and lay on the ground play after play in the first half. it was awesome

Oh, and speaking of character issues, did they let Wisky's band travel to this game or are they still the "banned" band?

O please, last time I checked football was a contact sport. Our team is not made up of a bunch of pansies.

Tune into the NFL Sundays and tell me they don't play aggressive. Nobody is perfect , maybe there was a time or two, but everyone plays that way, they just choose to point it out against the Vols.

The Wisconsin QB was the one that lowered his head as he went into the endzone. If you've ever played football, that is something you learn in Pee Wee NOT to do. If there would have been head-to-head contact it would have been the QBs fault for not keeping his head up to see where he was going. Blame you're QB for being scared and not knowing how to carry the ball
