I wonder which four games CBJ served up for DeBord to study when he was considering taking the job? I first I was going to say Oklahoma, Georgia, Florida and one more, but the more I think it about it must be the games that Dobbs started. But that doesn't make total sense either. I would think Jones would have wanted DeBord to get a sense of North and Smith as well.

I wondered the same thing. Would love to be a fly on the wall when they get into all the intricate details that Debord was talking about. Didn't he say they spent 2 hours on what ended up being just 5 plays?

I'd single out Mizzou, Ole Miss and OU to demonstrate the poor OL play

Florida to demonstrate total failure

UK to show what it looks like when everything is clicking

That's 5, but that should be the mentality. You give me 4 games to go over and present, I'll do 5

Even against Chattanooga was really bad.

Who was the a-hole at the press conference that asked about the indictment?
Thought it was not the right setting myself.

At the risk of getting bashed for being "radical"/"backwards"/"unrealistic"/"a prude", and at the risk of being the instigator of a thread derail....

....perhaps if people followed God's Will of abstinence until marriage, many if not all of these rape/assault allegations would stop.

I have a family member who is a rape victim. She was abstinate. Rapists don't really give a damn.

I'll say one thing to this and leave it be.

If the rape is true, then they should simply buy the daughter from the father for silver just as Deuteronomy says to do. And yes, if New Testament is used so is Old testament, can't cherry pick morality.

See why using a 2000 year old book with rules based on cultural and social opinions of the time doesn't work today?

Actually that law would not have applied to this situation. The law you stated only applied to a girl who was a virgin and the rape occurred where no one was around.

In this situation the girl would have been required to scream for help and someone at the party would have helped her. If she didn't then she would have been found guilty too and they all would have been stoned. Agree or disagree but that 2000 year old book would have settled this case quickly. It created a strong deterrent to sex crimes and virtually eliminated false accusations.

Falsely accuse a man and you were either going to die with him or be stuck with him for the rest of your life. Rape a woman and you were going to die. If it was matter of passion you didn't die but you had to care for the woman for the rest of your life. Simple and efficient.

DeBord did present that "we had just beat Florida" check. I guess we'll have to wait to see whether it clears. :twocents:

Peyton told the Broncos that he's physically and mentally ready to return next year. Bet they ask him to restructure his deal.

Justus is a damn fool.

Running off a great coach because she's a power hungry b****.

I thought I recognized that name. She was the principal at Houston High School in Germantown, my alma mater. I now live about a half of mile from there. She came well after me, but the academics have always been very good, and I don't think her tenure was any different.

Imo Butch would not have hired a guy he didn't think could coach the position. With Nick Sheridan still there to help, Imo the QB coaching will be just fine.

I also think I read Butch brought in another kid who played QB for him before to help going forward.
