I'll move this over here to get it out of the football talk thread. There are pluses and minuses to every opportunity. I think the DC move will be the best for my family right now.

VAVolsFan2009, my e-mail is glichtenwalter@yahoo.com. I would love to get some thoughts and views on the area. Springfield was one of the towns we were looking at but schools are definitely on our list of things to check out. Since you are from the area, any thoughts or insights you could offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

My wife fell down about the last four or so stairs and landed on the laundry basket. She was bruised badly but nothing broken thank God. I had the same thoughts about everyone that looked at us over the next week or so until her bruises went away.

My wife had Factor 5...a genetic blood clotting condition...was on blood thinners for the rest of her life...if she brushed against a door jamb, she'd have a horrible bruise. When she was putting on her gown for her lumpectomy, her family glared at me, even though they knew her condition. We don't talk nowadays.

Don't know if it's state law or what, but we went to the hospital after my wife went in to labor with our oldest son. They took her to a room while I waited, and while she was alone, they asked her if there was any abuse in the relationship.

It's a part of the assessment. I always ask if the patient feels "safe" at home.

My wife has a prosthetic heart valve and requires blood thinners, and as a result, she bruises if you stare intently at her. To make matters worse, she turns into corners, or hits herself with the car door, or any other of the things we tend to do as we put more candles on the birthday cake. It hasn't happened yet, but I keep wondering when I get hauled in for questioning...

That stinks man. If you had that many offers though you should get some more soon enough.

If the other offers were acceptable to you, I'd just contact them, knock an extra thousand or so off and they would likely jump on it if they are still looking. Folks have to understand a higher offer will almost always win out.

Came here to post some positive news...

Shane Andrus contacted me today to check on Jr's progress. He had some great things to say about him. Said if he works hard "sky is the limit".

Pretty good praise from a former NFL kicker
