Good thing we have plenty of gas stations. Go to one of those american owned and run good Ole boys stores.

You don't want to sell bacon, dont. You don't want to bake a rainbow cake, dont. But firing or refusing to serve someone is still discrimination in some instances.

Well I would like to believe that a true Christian would be happy to serve any human being and not try to make a political statement. I also agree that they shouldn't have to do anything that they don't want to do.

I actually agree with you here. A person should not be required to compromise his or her beliefs just because another person demands it. The fact that the owner was sued is absurd. I can't for the life of me figure out why that couple would want to force someone to do business with them rather than going to someone else who values the business.

Why couldn't the gays do the same thing? No.. they had to make a statement about how they were discriminated against by bringing suit. So the Christian owners were forced to abide. Yet you think that it is OK to be discriminated against the other way. I think that is called a "double standard".

Good grief with the baker already... What about the baker who was sued for not putting anti-gay slurs on the cake? That knife cuts both ways and I'm speaking in generalities - I doubt you'd want to trade intolerance stories with the lgbt community.

I think I pointed out that I support the bakery in this instance. Some people like to whine and automatically play victim.

Don't take this the wrong way, it is simply a question. How familiar are you with the gay community? I ask this because there is a very vocal minority that lives for this kind of thing. They were beat up as kids... they have been jilted... whatever, but they seek revenge on society. THEY are the kind of people that file these kinds of lawsuits.
