This is true. CBJ said he normally likes to sign 2 a year. I guess 2 or 3 get moved to other positions or transfer and that leaves a pool of 5 to 6 to compete.

Kendall will be our only 2016 QB signee if he stays the course. I really want him, but if he's teary-eyed over Bajakian leaving or us taking 3 QB in 2015....

All I'm saying is, if you're told that you're THE guy for the 2016 class, you lock it in. We are building something special right now. Kendall better recognize.

I doubt we ever take just 1 QB in a cycle with Butch here. The way the college game is played today you need all the great QBs you can get.

My reasoning would be that quote was made 8 months before UT took Kendall. 17 of 22 CBs are to OSU. 1 to UT. He's made multiple visits to Columbus.

Not impossible as its recruiting. Imo, he's OSUs to lose.

Everytime I see this pic I'm amazed that we pulled this off. I was pessimistic and said there was no way fans pull this off on their own without marketing assistance. I was wrong and hope we do this once a year

I hope we go all in with this guy, especially if Kendall is wavering. Like him a little better anyways to be honest.

Hopefully Butch can guarantee that Guarantano comes to Tennessee. It would be a good thing since some on VolNation are saying Austin will flip to Kentucky.

If Ohio State does take someone over Guarantano, where do you guys think we would sit? Are we in second now?

Thanks. I haven't followed many other quarterbacks since we landed Kendall. This kid looks to be right there on Kendall's level. I think that Oden is ours to lose if we want him. I hope we push for a commitment from him immediately if Kendall flips, then pursue this kid.

Imo, pursuing others is part of the problem. Take 1 and stick with the guy. He sees you shopping, and after watching you take 3 the previous year he feels very uneasy. Butch said ideally 5 QBs on the roster. DON'T take 5 in a 2 year period. Jmo
