I think the stress of being sick is finally catching up to me. My body is healing, as much as it can all things considered, but my mind is still helter skelter. Just really tired of dealing with all this ****. Friends and family say "stay strong" and "things will be okay", and I do appreciate it, but some days, it's just hard to believe it. What sucks is when you think you've taken a step forward, only to learn you actually took two steps back. It all just grinds away at you. The frustration is probably the hardest thing for me to deal with, because it leaves me feeling helpless and weak. You try to put it aside. You try to act normal. Part of the problem is I'm not even sure what normal is anymore. Whatever it is, I just want to find it again.
Weezer, my wife is not in the med field, however she is pretty knowledgeable on med stuff. I've been reading your post to her and she is curious to find out if you have ever been tested for Lyme disease? Please forgive me for prying.
I neglected to tell my wife about your genetic predisposition. My bad. Now that I have, she has educated me on proper reading technique. LolI've had so many courses of various antibiotics pumped through my system that I'm fairly certain Lyme Disease isn't a possibility.
I come by my illnesses naturally. Everything I have can be traced to genetics. Somehow, I just happenned to catch the perfect storm when it comes to the manifestation of said genes. It's like winning the lottery in reverse.
Funny/disturbing tree story. Me a couple friends went camping when I was like 20 or so. One of our friends got drunk and wondered off. After about an hour we went looking for him, we found him with his pants off humping a tree that had fallen. We never invited him camping again.
