You know what's nice? Our main rivals are pour mouthing our class because it ranks above theirs.

Tonight Bob K asked Butch about OC announcement. Don't remember his exact words, but he said hopefully by Friday, along with the rest of the staff shuffling. Yeah...I know OC part was known, but I thought the shuffling part was interesting.

Had a long day of work and missed all the fun. 20,000 or so new posts I'll never have time to read. Did we do good? Recap of the day from someone? How did our rivals do?

Everything went exactly as planned. Our class was done before noon with no hiccups and finished 5th on Rivals.

We added Richmond plus everyone else on our commit list. Basically what catbone said. Also we finished 4th on Scout and 247. :)

Added Richmond and hung onto everyone else. Auburn had a huge day and stole a couple from Florida. Florida landed CeCe and Ivey. Cracked into the top 25 barely but that class is as top heavy as it gets. Ole Miss's class looks like dog**** outside of about 4 or 5 players.

Oh and we easily finished with the best class in the SECE on all 4 services.

Oh and skeeter made a big time driveby in the Richmond part 1 thread late last night.

Signing day was great, but am I remiss to think that we could see Azzanni and Mahoney gone?

I think Zach will be the HC at CMU and I think Mahoney wil possibly be OC.

If this were to be the case, could Sanford come in as OC and Deboard as OL coach.

I know its been mentioned and talked about previously, but the fact they havent announced a coach prior to signing day makes me believe this could be the case.

If it was Deboard, I am pretty sure we would have just announced it right?

CZA was on Sports talk this afternoon and he said he's has zero contact with CMU and he is looking forward to reaping the benefits of these recruiting classes.

Boise HC said he expects his staff intact for the fall and ZA said he hasn't spoken to anyone about CMU. May be covering themselves for signing day, but I expect both are true.

I anticipate DeBord on a 2-3 year contract as Co-OC with ZA in a mentorship role. Someone else, maybe RG, takes recruiting coordinator title. Sheridan coaches QBs. Maybe next offseason someone leaves and he becomes a full time staff member.

Richmond announcement was fun and games. News broke that he had signed with the Vols. He tweets he has faxed in no LOI at this point. There is much consternation and gnashing of teeth. After a minute or so he relents and tweets his decision.
