Not only is passing in that situation the dumbest call in history, but when NE is stacked up in the box to stop the run, you don't throw a slant right into a stacked up box. At least go outside with it.

Never seen a worse play call in my life.

Agree on the Peterman deal but part of it has to be in Butch. He didn't do very well this season making important in game decisions. I can't remember the exact scenario but I think we were pinned deep late in the game. I was begging us not to run but instead throw intermediate passes in the middle of the field. I think we threw one long down the sidelines and then did run up the middle. Again... I can't remember the exact situation but they did exactly what I was hoping we wouldn't and something bad happened. Was it a safety? Or a fumble for a td? Can't remember. But back to the original point...Its amazing Peterman was so incredibly terrible

Yes you are absolutely correct on CBJ he is a complete DUMBAZZ!!!! The great coaches never make mistakes. They never call a play they wish they could take back in hindsight after it fails because they do not make the bad play calls.

Oh wait Coach Pete Carroll could not have just made a DUMBAZZ play call. He is a great coach and the defending SB coach. That pass that was intercepted was a great call from the 1 yard line with Lynch in the backfield.

420 every coach makes calls that are game changers. IF he hits that pass, game over Seahawks win most likely. BUT it is picked off and he will be second guessed for years to come because of it.

Saban and his field goal that turned into a touchdown for Auburn 2 years ago is another example.

Just relax my friend. First things first, we have to get a team full of SEC caliber player which we are close after this class. When we have player of that caliber it always a coaching staff to gamble more. Talent allows you to cover up the occasion screw up. When the talent is not deep enough you have to be perfect to win which is why we beat USCjr 2 years ago. This year talent allowed us to come back and win. Coaching the kids to play the whole game and never give up also is part of it. This year will be so-so. 2016 we will be in the thick of it for SEC and Natty. Just bear with it brother, we are on the upswing, WE ARE CLOSE RIGHT NOW JUST YOUNG.

I think they panicked with only one timeout. They had to call one after the circus catch. I guess they were afraid they would have to call one after one run. But you have to give it to Lynch at least once.

Exactly. That's what I said.

Terrible call to throw on 2nd and goal from the one.

Inexplicable, how you decide to throw it into a group of 15 +/- people

They had 50 seconds, could have run it 3 times. I was shocked Belichek wasn't calling TO.

They had plenty of time. Run with Lynch and if he doesn't make it you have time to set up a play, run again and call a timeout on fourth.
