One of the jurors was a rape victim and may have been untruthful during selection process.

Defense calling for mistrial.

Original: This may be a hacked tweet and would be a big surprise, and he has since deleted the tweet but not posted clarification. I Will work to confirm the news on the four-star quarterback.

Tasha Francois, Deondre's mom, tells me she had no idea that he was decommitting and does not know what is going on.

FSU's staff was not informed of a decommit from Francois.

4:45 update: Coach Chris Weinke also did not know, per Josh newberg.

At this point, I am leaning toward this being a practical joke, perhaps by a teammate.

4:55IMG Academy's offensive line coach confirms the decommitment to Richard Johnson.

5:08 But Chris Weinke tells Josh Newberg that the story of the IMG offensive line coach confirming his decommitment is "not true."

Weinke tells Richard Johnson that he has not spoken with Francois and does not know if he decommitted.

Is that Richard "Dick" Johnson?

Sucks for the victim. I don't think the defense team is going to do better in another trial. There is so much damning evidence .

Can they do that ?

Yes it's possible. Maybe even likely. No way to tell until things get in motion if a mistrial is granted. You can bet the house the defense will try to plea bargain this time. Getting an impartial jury to hear that case again is going to be near impossible.

Here's the question if you are the prosecutor/DA do you give them a plea bargain? They probably have more evidence than they usually have for a rape case. Also this is a national story now.

If it took 3 hours to get a guilty verdict, I don't offer them anything. I just start over and crush them again.
