For almost 2 years now everyone but Butch has tried to make him something other than a QB.
He's going to play QB this year. If it doesn't work, there will be discussions for next year.

Butch is recruiting his ass off but still behind Saban.
Not his fault, but man, it's gotta be frustrating to land such an impressive class and still see your permanent rival with a class that has the potential to be among the best in college football history. I guess that's what 4 rings will do for you.
Still, I think that the difference between 4 straight top 5 classes (should that happen for Tennessee) and 4 straight number one classes isn't that big on the field. It really just boils down to Bama having greater odds of finding elite playmakers like Amari Cooper or Derek Barnett in every class. They will still have mass attrition and plenty of busts just like everyone else.
Cory Batey thought he would 'beat' rape charges, mentor says
Quote:
Former Vanderbilt University football player Cory Batey still appeared confident that he would "beat" the rape charges during his lunch just hours before he was found guilty Tuesday afternoon, according to Byron De'Vinner, a Batey mentor, who ate with him in the courthouse cafeteria.
I would not let my child anywhere near this guy. His name comes up way too often in a negative light.
I am not surprised about Batey after reading that his
"mentor" is Byron De'Vinner. Parents of athletes should be made aware of how big a POS and dirtbag that De'Vinner is. At some point in time he will get his too.
Well now he deleted his decommitment tweet. This could get fun because recruiting site guys had already retweeted it.
