While things may look bleak to outsiders with the small class size, we feel like we have some players that can play on both sides of the ball if needed. For example, we've found that some of the offensive lineman often like to play as defensive lineman.

Since their new coach was hired he's added 2 commitments. A 2 star and a 3 star. They have 10 total commitments 7 days before NSD. Sitting 14/14 in the SEC and 99th nationally.

Something we can all agree on regardless of everything else we might want to bicker about.

Probably doing the same thing UT did Butch's first class. Having to fill it with players the caliber that he would not take in future years. I'm sure their class next year, much like in Butch's second will look ALOT different star wise.

:crazy: What a weird dude. I am so glad we are done with our Saban underling phase (i.e. Dooley era). UF keeps it going. If you have trouble recruiting at UF, even with only 9 weeks until NSD, that is a huge red flag.

UF hired CJM on December 4, 2014.

UT hired Butch Jones on December 7, 2012.

Butch had less time to put together the 2013 class for TN than CJM has to put together the 2015 class for UF. Butch was able to get enough recruits to come to TN and closed with the 21st best class in the country by signing day in 2013.

Doubtful. Gators fans don't give much thought to UT.

I remember them crowing about how we had no chance with Jalen Hurd and Josh Malone...that we couldn't land our own state's top recruits...how were we going to land anything in Florida?

Looks like the question is to see if he can land 5 4* players in the next week. This is at UF too where you can go throw out a net and scoop up 10 blue chips in a week.

Hard to say Butch had it easier.

It is crazy though to look at that 2013 class and only see 1 guy rated 5.9 or better (usually around top 150 players in the country). And only 5 4 stars total.

In the past two classes so far Butch has landed 34 4 stars and 15 5.9's or better.

Unless I am missing something, all the commits showing on 247 do as well. The kid committed today is not showing up yet. Maybe he does not. Maybe he is also walking on? With a week to go, I'm curious to see how they finish.
