Fox's football recruiting show on Monday nights at ten EST said last night that Quarter Sapp is one of four or five that are committing on their show next Monday night. They pronounced his name correctly but had it spelled incorrectly.

Butch is going to hire who he wants to hire. Being honest, if DeBord is the hire, I'm less than impressed. He may turn out to be a great hire, but as a fan, I'm entitled to my opinion. I look at his resume, and I think we can do better. The gaps concern me. He's not coached football for at least a year. He's not been an OC in several years. Top all of that off with the fact he's not a QB coach, and it concerns me. And to be clear, I just don't agree with those who keep insisting he helped develop Tom Brady and other Michigan QBs.

All that said, Butch should hire the guy he wants. It's going to be his ass on the line if we fail next year. Either he's gonna be a hero, or his seat will get scorching hot. And ftr, I hope he's a freakin' hero because I want to win.

JMO, but I think Butch is leaning toward DeBord, but at the same time, he realizes just how important this hire is to his future. Makes him gunshy. He wants to do his due diligence before he pulls the trigger.

Yep that's what it looks like. Debord is his guy and just making sure he gives outside folks a shot to change his mind. Each site is dead set on Debord being the guy for it not to be legitimate. That should be an interesting day when it's announced

if that was true you'd see media reports putside the UT footprint. This is what we have right now.

There probably aren't many people on here more religious than me (not saying that to be bragadocious, just saying I am very conservative and making a point that--) If I thought it was blasphemous I wouldn't do it. If I caused offense, I apologize for real

That's pretty speculative. Are you just basing this off of last years numbers? Those differ every year. And with Florida and Michigan looking to be big risers, the other top 10 classes might not be adding as much as you might expect.

I am so cracking up right now, but no not to that level. But she said I can't believe someone put that there, it's not right. I said honey relax this is what we do. Understand, she's a conservative white woman from Monroe County. Anything outside of the King James is blasphemous. Lol. So don't trip, I just thought it was funny. She'll be ok.

Not necessarily. I'm not going to say you're wrong, but if there was ever a time to keep conversations, especially phone conversations, hush hush, it would be in the build up to NSD. Lots of schools would try to keep it quiet so as to not effect their class, and most fans are distracted by who's still on the board. But again, you could be absolutely right, I just think it possible that at least a few calls are being made.
