Ukraine Protests

When people talk about "culture," they aren't talking about the police getting a warrant to look at someone's cell phone.

I answered your question about the Constitution not protecting culture. I am just making a general statement about the state our country is in right now. You're missing the general sentiment, which is that at least the Russia leadership is looking out for the best interests of its people and trying to restore some pride in the country.

No, they're talking about slavery, counter-Labor actions, anti-women movements, and a "free America" that apparently only ever existed in Ras's mind.

This is like arguing with Kindergarteners.

Please stop. You couldn't care less about individual liberties, unless those individuals conform to your particular worldview.

I hope you're an old man. Otherwise, you're just pathetic.

This American exceptionalism and demeaning comments is why most people despise Americans and their culture. Double standards and hypocrisy are a common theme with our government and with you.

Kinda like Victoria Nuland's comment....who gives a **** what anybody else thinks, we are America by gosh..

If Russians take pride in rocket attacks on residential areas, they've got issues.

Don't forget the gays.

Kerry releases a statement. Haven't seen anything from the White House.

Attacks in Ukraine by Russia-Backed Separatists

We call on Russia to end its support for separatists immediately, close the international border with Ukraine, and withdraw all weapons, fighters and financial backing. Otherwise, U.S. and international pressure on Russia and its proxies will only increase.

That ought to stop the Russian tanks in their tracks.

As I've told you and puddinhead time and again, you two are the biggest American exceptionalists on here.

Quite frankly, I'm tired your racism, ethnocentrism, etc. that claims that no one else on Earth is capable of doing anything other than Americans.

I'll remind you sir that the rest of the world is not a mere passive observer, as you prefer them. They're actual agents.

Stop giving America more credit than it's due and start giving others in this world some credit.

You probably weren't expecting that response, were you?

Truth hurts though.

Racism? That is hilarious! Kinda like accusing Russia of shooting down MH17 without ANY proof. Your continuous accusations and belittling make you look like the RT troll that you are..

If I were a Russian I'd resent the fact that you think my country incapable of shooting down a civilian jetliner. I'd think, "My god, we didn't create nearly 40,000 nuclear weapons over the last half-century only to have some American jukebox think us unable to shoot down a 737."

Your idea of America, I don't want to see it.

I'm tired of seeing you constantly deny that Russia was involved in MH17.

You think those rebels just flipped on a switch and knew how to operate that complicated piece of machinery?

There is no proof that Russia or the rebels were involved in the shooting down of that plane. If you want to remove all doubt, allow Belgium, Australia, Denmark and Ukraine to release the information they found.

Also, why is Ukraine allowed to be part of the investigation when they are a primary suspect? And why was Malaysia held out of participating in the investigation for so long when it was of their national interest?

Also, lets look at motive... what would Russia or the rebels have to gain from shooting the plane down? And why did the Ukrainians divert the flight of the aircraft right into the heart of the Eastern Ukrainian conflict?

Sure America has made mistakes, but there are many things to admire about our past.

I don't want to put words in his mouth, but the way I read Ras's comments is that we as Americans have lost our culture of independance and self reliance. Our politicians have enabled our dependance while racking up massive debt.

As a result of the massive debt, the politicians are beholden to the Wall Street and banking "cartels". Therefore, we absolutely should scrutinize our foreign policy.

For example, why are we arming the Syrian rebels instead of the Kurds to fight ISIS? Why did we decide to kill Qhaddafi and thrust his country into chaos even though he was willing to abdicate? I would submit the answer is those decisions are swayed in favor of financial interests.

Before anyone scoffs at my comments, keep in mind that the Federal Reserve as well as all the central banks are private banks... We just don't know who owns them. When you start to look at world events through the prism of who holds the purse strings, is it really even American foreign policy anymore?

I'm not here trapped in pre-1990's thinking that we are dealing with a Soviet/Communist Red Scare in this situation. Russia is a far different country today than it was in 1990. And unfortunately, the USA is a far different country than it was 25 years ago, also. We are getting bent out of shape and calling Russia out as trying to extend its former empire when this situation was brought to their doorsteps (a bordering country) by the US State Department jackals. Meanwhile, the US has her hands in every major conflict in the Middle East, Africa and Latin America. Yet, we don't see the imperialism in our foreign policy.

I know you won't respond to me because you're weak, but you've just got the entire world figured out, don't you!

If, today, a video was placed on news sources for you to track the firing from the actual BUK system, tracking the missile through the sky, to the jet (clearly marked), you would refuse to believe it, wouldn't you?

Stop pretending like you're some sort of champion of individual rights. We know you for what you are: a mouthbreathing fascist. Sorry if us folks around here don't buy into your rhetoric of "authentic cultures" and what-not.

I posted a week or so ago about Russia's new "Homestead Act" in the Far East. You should give it a try.

Hey, Red. As always your commentary is welcomed instead of the mouthbreathing nonsense we typically get.

I'll say, however, that Rasputin's notion of America is a fabricated one, only viewed in early movies.

It's tiring, quite frankly.

Show me some proof! Anything that directly ties Russians or the separatist to the downing of this jet?!

You're right! How did I miss the logic in your and Ras's posting?

Of course it was a CIA plot in conjunction with the Ukrainian government to pull Ukraine into the EU! How silly of me to assume the separatists had been getting their ass handed to them by the Ukrainian Air Force and were eager for a little payback and shot at anything they could find.

All you have to do is show proof. Hell, I would be happy if you guys would nail down a motive for them to do it. Or explain why the flight path of the airliner was diverted...

Why don't you leave Grand Vol alone and get back to your fascist coup that will seek to restore America back to its original greatness, when people all bid by the church and gays were put in their place?
