Ah...here is where the confusion stems...I didn't say Basilio said it, I was simply trying to point out where someone might have gotten the info. That is all. I don't do 247 so...

anyway, all good and at this point no news is good news...besides if Basilio knew anything he'd be an his basement in his jammys on the air right now, lol.

Honestly, DeBord makes no sense. Yeah they worked together in the past but that doesn't excuse the fact that this would be a hire out of left field.

Interesting - Fulmer interviewed Debord and Clawson, then chose Clawson. We all know the rest.
Maybe Debord has always been destined to be a Vol. And if Butch hires him the college football world will return to normal and the Vols will reign supreme. Just a theory!!!!!

Yeah but I'm also saying that people were saying "Basilio is on record as saying it's done" BEFORE the tweet added to confusion. But no one can say where he said it. So far there's been a thread on Volquest and 247 saying he said it. Leb brought it here. That sabanochio clown tweeted it to his 5600 followers he's attained somehow. But nobody knows where Basilio has "went on the record."

Doesn't matter. I seriously doubt he said it. If he thought he had something and beat the other media he'd be shouting it from the mountain tops.

As you say, if TB knew something he'd be on the radio/app right now.

It's 9 PM on Saturday night, there's not gonna be any confirmations coming...er'body need to chill.

Pretty sure Butch disagrees. Debord helped shape CBJ into the coach he is today. Debord is a well respected coach. I am not saying he should be our OC, but I can understand why CBJ would want him.
