Who would want to be the head coach at a university that has the greatest player ever at that school standing behind him? It would be a no win situation for Butch. Win and Peyton gets the credit. Lose and people will be calling for your head on a platter for not letting Peyton run his offense.

OK< WHOEVER IT IS I would think needs to favor a spread type of offense.. It wouldn't make much sense to spend the last 3 (including this one) recruiting classes on spread type players to bring in a pro style guy.. Theres more to than just learning the plays and running them..

So right about OL coach...he'll be gone next year if they don't perform. de1, appreciate what you bring here, that's what message boards should be all about. People sharing info with like minded favs. You need a Twitter habdle.

What about bringing Chaney back from AR and Coach Pittman for the Oline while we're at it? Chaney is a good OC.

Wait, you think Peyton would only be able to call an offense with a 6'5" laser armed pocket passer? I believe you are under-estimating the Sheriff's knowledge of the game. You could get rid of all of the staff and hire one Peyton Manning.

Walt Bell- OC from Arkansas State. Runs the spread. Has gone from GA to OC in 7 years starting at MTSU through USM, NC and now at ASU as offensive coordinator.

Where did the thread go about "Jim Tressel boards a plane at 6:15 this morning headed for knoxville."? Somebody started that first thing this morning, and said they had an inside source, but the couldn't reveal his source. Just wondering if anybody else saw it?
