Here you go Volatil. The chicken was awesome. Ribs weren't bad but I prefer the baby back ribs I think.

Hey VN. I'm gonna need some of those prayers we offer up for each other. My sister has MS and has been living with it since she was about 12. She has been alright for so long that her and her husband have been discussing starting a family. However, at her doctors appointment today they found two lesions on her brain. She is going to have to have some aggressive treatment that will hopefully reduce them and then slowing switch to a new medicine. It doesn't look like she will be able to be a mother anytime soon if at all. She, along with all of us, are frightened and heartbroken for her. I pray that The Lord will bring peace and healing to her and would greatly appreciate the prayers of my VN family. Thank you.

Dang, I hate that for her. She'll definitely be in my thoughts and prayers. Hopefully her new treatment does a lot of good for her.

Your sister and family will be in my thoughts and prayers, glicht. MS is rough. I've got a good friend with it and they found lesions on her brain this past summer. Keep her spirits up and don't let her give up fighting.

So sorry to hear this Glitch. Praying as I go to bed. Keep the faith as God can and does do miraculous things.

Hate that for your family... Definite prayers sent. Be careful with the anti seizure medicine.

Just heard that cars are backed up for as much as 10 miles trying to get into the Sonic Drive-ins in Louisiana. Seems they have Corn Dogs for 50 cents each and the residents of the Corn Dog State want to take advantage of the bargain.

Vols football is the third most important thin in my life, only The Lord and family come before it, and not my much, probably almost equal.

Thank you all for the prayers.

Butchna: The new medicine that her doc is wanting to switch her to has blindness as one of the possible side effects. She is a little freaked out about that one.

The anti seizure medicine my wife was taking had a toxic effect...I still feel it shut down her liver. She found out about the tumors on the base of her brain the previous April and had targeted radiation treatment that worked for a short time...they came back in December of 2013 and she had that last bad seizure that practically crippled her. Possible side effects are just that... Possible. I hope she doesn't have to lose her sight...even temporarily, but anything is better than those seizures! My daughter still brings up that in her therapy sessions. My wife had a genetic susceptibility to tumors so your loved one probably won't be subject to the same degree. I don't know what your oncologist's course of treatment is but stay confident and upbeat for her...lots of success stories out there! Sorry if I got too heavy buddy. Feb 6 is her birthday and then we have the 22nd.

No sweat brother. My sister had an inflamed brain stem when she was about 14. She was having severe equilibrium issues and couldn't even sit up without getting nauseous and that is when she was diagnosed. She has been on shots almost everyday since then and hasn't really had to many issues. Lately she has had some cognitive loss which the doc said is most likely attributed to the lesions. It is hard being five hours away and not being able to be physically there. The rest of our family is there though so she has a good support system.

I am truly soory about your wife. I can't even imagine. You and your daughter will be in my prayers as well. Thanks for VNing with us.

Prayers sent for your sister and all of her family.

Prayers offered up in here for Glicht's sister and family, as well as Butchna and his daughter. Guys - we rarely know why in this world. Just know that the Lord sets things right in the next. Have faith and live each day in witness and support of those you love. All of us deal with something if we are on this earth long enough.

It seems like your sister has been on top of this a long time...astounds me. My wife beat everything cancer gave her...until it got in her brain. Can't do the scenario of multiple years fighting something literally in your mind. Is it isolated at the base? Feel like I didn't pray enough last night...will double my efforts today.

Thanks from my end...the worst I'm dealing with is the one year anniversary for my daughter...Glick's sister is winning.

Can't begin to understand fully what you've been through, bro. Just know folks care and lift you up.

Still remember the feeling I had when the technician called me in to look at my dad's catscan while he was putting his clothes on. I had the duty of telling him the end was near. He passed on St. Patrick's Day two months later. So every year on that date...

We never know what lies ahead. But we know we have a Lord that cares and experienced many of the things we do. He will make it right.

Most kids will go thru one more growth spurt in college. I imagine that's why the college programs like to redshirt lineman. I went from 5-11 to 6-2 in my first year and half in college.

And your avi went from "C" to "whatever that might be" now in college also?
