Yep I agree, there's a few busts but stars matter for the most part. I remember when everybody was saying quit being a negavol when I complained about Dooleys recruiting, well it sucked and he killed our team and he sucks

Agree. There's a reason CBJ bragged about finishing with a top 2 or 3 ranked class.

Just from experience. You can tell a lot by a players eyes of how good they will be. Although Drew may be talented he is not a player I expect to be big time. Look at the difference in his eyes compared to jack jones. Drew has the build but his mindset may not be there. This is not a loss at all.

I'm not saying he wouldn't add to a team. What I am saying is, he isn't going to turn out to what you expect. It's not insanity. Daniel McCullers never had the killer instinct in him. It was written all over his face. Now look at John Henderson. There is two differences in their look. Football is a mental game as much as physical. Either you got it or you don't.

It is imperative to have a recruiting class stacked with 4 and 5 star players. That's the bottom line. I'm not a star gazer because I probably wasn't highly touted, but I also know the importance of having highly touted recruits.

Umm, you may want to pay close attention as to who is providing this info. He knows a thing or 2 about football. He's a letterman RB for our beloved Vols...I'll let you put 2 and 2 together.

Eli is very calm but highly motivated and driven. Drew is a nice young man but doesn't come across as very driven. A Mentality of being able to just coast everywhere.

There are 2 sides to the star debate. On the left you have guys that think only 5 stars and high 4 stars is always a must. On the right you have guys that think stars don't matter at all. The truth is in the middle. I try not to be extreme one way or the other. See them all for their positive.
