I wish Phillips the best for wherever he chooses, but I hope he sees us on our rise and wants to be part of it. Being from instate and his ability he could be a big part of the BIG ORANGE rise to the top on Rocky Top. Because no matter what we are headed to the top, we want you Kyle we are putting something great together and you want you to be part of it. GO BIG ORANGE!!!!

We could have used Phillips tonight...just shows how little depth we actually have. If he was in the 2014 class, he would have gotten plenty of work tonight. Especially with Barnett getting his shoulder dinged up to where he had to switch to left side DE.

Plus, our DE's had a hard time chasing down the QB, later in the game. The QB wasn't an elite athlete by any stretch.

We need more speed on the edge. If Phillips runs a 4.6 or better, we need that kind of speed...to chase down the QB when they break containment.

Iowa had a very good OLine. The Dline played good. Stop trying to find stuff to nitpick. We just won a bowl game for the first time since the 2007-08 season. Relax and enjoy.
