Seems as though there's something holding him back from UT. Strange to say the least. We have made him a priority , rolled out the orange carpet, and yet he seems hesitant. I thought it was a UT-LSU battle. Now some posters are saying Ole Miss is getting back in it. I know this is silly season but something is just not right.

I think Orge can recruit without being sleazy or at least better controlled when he doesn't have to be sleazy and isn't in an environment that condones it. LSU basically recruits itself for LA and east TX kids You throw in Orge's skills and his connections in LA and he and Frank Wilson will have that region locked up.

Rumored that Steele suffered a minor stroke before that game. One of my roommates from grad school at Clemson was and is still on the Clemson staff. I was told that there were defensive calls being made that weren't even in their repertoire. They believed they may have been assignments or lingo from his Bama days.

No major news source has run with those alleged quotes. I think those Miles quotes about chavis were made up.

The state of TN is trolling LSU. Lured them into MCB loss, Chief quits after game, Butch (the orchestrator of course) serves up Ugo then pulls the troll strings and lands Phillips and Martin. Shoulda stayed outa our state corn dogs. Thx for the assist Brian Kelly old friend.

This is great news and all, but I never understand how teams can make a surge when we are in a dead period. I know recruits can call the coaches, and I think the coaches can make one call per week. I guess that's how. Just seems that surges would happen when visits occur, not with just a simple conversation on the phone. Maybe the surge is due to everyone involved knowing that Chavis is leaving.

Or when you send X number of commits to an All-American game where the touted prospect also happens to be playing. Phillips seems to be spending a lot of time with KM and DK.
