I think you mean Scott, not Love

LSU to Ugo:

Even if the Phillips situation doesn't hash out our way, weed still pick you

Who is lead recruiter on Phillips, and is Thig involved?

Chavis was doing the work on Ugo and Dylan Jackson, and I would assume Phillips. If true about Chavis, I would have to think Jackson considers Stanford, and we have a shot at Phillips.

You and I do feel that way but the kid doesn't care about being depth. He could stay and eventually start and even develop and be drafted. But so many kids these days want instant results. Barnett was able to produce that and Hendrix wants to be that guy now instead of working and getting there eventually. I think if he stayed he would. He still might somewhere else but road will be just as long if going to Juco. He is not a RB like AK so will be harder to do as quickly if he goes JUCO.

That's fine and I agree. If he doesn't want to be here then CBJ can't do anything about it and i don't blame him or his staff for that. All they can do is try to convince a kid and then let them make their mind up. Doesn't mean the coaches are content with it or that it's an ideal situation, which has been my point all along.

I believe it's a safe assumption that coaches would prefer to have more experience in the program than less. That doesn't mean they can control it, unless they're cutting kids, which I don't think they're doing, especially not with the FR. It also doesn't mean I think Butch and Co has failed by not retaining them. They know what it takes to win in this league; evidence by the caliber of players they're recruiting and bringing in.

CBJ has had to recruit such big classes that we will probably have more than the average big program has drop out or transfer. Imo, in a couple of years, we can just fill certain needs and have a specific role that recruits will fulfill, thus less attrition. As of right now, it's almost like open auditions with the recruits. The ones that win, stay. The ones that lose the battle, leave. I'll be glad when our depth is like Bama, etc.

Well with the chatter of Chavis going to a&m
Wonder if this will affect his decision in our favor.....

If kp and ugo are "package deal", does it steal kp's thunder now that ugo committed?

Ugo put it out there that they were a package deal and I don't see Phillips letting him still his thunder and let the cat out of the bag. His announcement has been planned for Saturday after the Army All American game for a while now. I may be wrong. If it is true then Ugo is not a teammate at all and is selfish.

Seems like chavis is slipping out the door with the Miles comments so idk how that affects Philips but I'm tired of losing instate talent to Ole Miss.

Chavis to A&M looks to have major legs to it with Miles talking about the Chief in past-tense after the MC Bowl.

This is big. I'd say LSU is completely out of this race if this is happening.
