Everyone's argument for him still being so good even though his physical abilities continue to get worse is a testament to just how great he is.

But at some point the lack of physical ability is going to get the best of him. I hope I'm wrong and he plays 5 more years at a high level, but he's tailed off significantly this year.

I think the biggest issue is that their offensive line lately looks like tennessee's this year. On another note, I think Del Rio is an awful defensive coordinator.

It's been 3-4 weeks of not PM like. If he's hurt and has to go through another surgery, that could be the end.

"If"...I'll wait...he had a stretch of 4 interception game two years ago and a stretch BEFORE his surgery. When it's time for him to go he'll go...maybe it's after this year? Maybe it's in four years?

PM has always been able to get rid of the ball before getting hit. This year he hasn't had any time to even throw it away.

He wasn't throwing like he is now during those runs.

Time marches on.

and I agree with this.

But After watching him regress as a passer the last last few games, i just dont believe he's going to all of a sudden start progressing back to throwing laser strikes like he use to.

He's made plenty of great passes, but everyone wants to remember his bad ones.

I think the problem is the lack of balance in that offense. That has a lot to do with injuries.

Peyton and their O-line looked like Worley and ours.. No wonder he is hurt.

Still clenched the division even at the worst I've seen him..

How good has peyton been that a guy on pace for 4500 yards and 40 Touchdowns is "done"?? hahaha

I think the "done" factor stems from him looking like he doesn't enjoy it. He still says he does, and it's hard to imagine football without Peyton on the field somewhere, but idk how many more years he's got left.

The "done" talk stemmed from him appearing to be hurt and has lost his velocity on his passes.

Folks on here took those posts as he's washed up.

He was killing it at the beginning of the season.

I agree. Add in that the team D stinks, so he feels like he has to outscore everybody behind a sketchy line and mediocre run game. Fox used to be a D guru. Those days are gone.

I would love to see PM get another ring, but I would much rather see him retire healthy. He has nothing to prove to anybody, including himself.
