Read a B/R article this morning citing Strip as the sixth ranked recruiter in the nation...anybody know by whom?...or does B/R handle their own?

He also said he had more upside than Barnett.

It mentioned that was earlier in the season...maybe that changed? Remember getting whipped with the "more upside" bull when Peyton was drafted over Ryan Leaf...Leaf just got out of prison BTW. :good!:

So I just spoke with JC Shurburtt from 247 concerning Sheriron Jones as well as Deondre Francois. He said he likes both recruits and both would fit very well in our offense. He said we have a much better shot at landing Jones. I asked how he thought Dormady and Jennings would react to this, since they would both be on campus if it were to come to fruition. He said, well you can move Jennings to safety where he belongs. He said there is a good chance that Jones ends up on The Hill. TIFWIW. :hi:

If we have to do it without Croom, a healthy North, and a healthy Smith, I think we'll have problems on offense. This will be Malone's time to step it up and hopefully Pig will continue to be consistent. Von needs to figure out his routes/ coaches need to find a way to get him the ball more. everyone thought we were deep at WR but the injury list is long. If North and Smith are healthy, I doubt the talent in their backfield comes close to matching up.

Croom, North and Smith are out for the season. Pickett won't play due to academics, and Scott and Helm are gone. I'm guessing we'll pull some trick plays out of our playbook.

How upset would JJ be if we moved him I wonder

Because everything that goes on with these boys isn't Volnations business. (not being smartass about it, so please don't take it that way)

Some things are kept where it should be (inside the camp) unless and until it has to be shared. In addition, always assume that people on these boards are NOT all VOLS, and are trolling from opposing teams. So think about it this way:

1) Tell volnation a player is hurt just because we're nosy as hell

or

2) Tell opposing team we have player at UTK playing injured so they can target him?

I hope my post didn't come across as being nosy a few pages back. As you probably know JC is one of my favorite players. I was just wanting you to let us know generally that he was going to be ok.

He won't be moved immediately. I do believe that is his final destination though unless he just blows the coaches out of the water during his redshirt next year.

JJ does not strike me as someone that will pack up his toys and go home. I believe he just wants a shot at being a college QB and he will get that chance.

I knew his is OT, but damn, that school massacre in Pakistan is awful

Saw that earlier today. I'm a retired Marine. I've seen and done things people really should never have to see or do, but through all og that, I've never been able to get a grasp on what people think they are proving by going into a place and purposely killing a bunch of kids.

Killing a school full of kids does not = tough guy

With the way the Taliban operates in Pakistan it wouldn't surprise me if those who did the killing were children themselves. Regardless, what a sorry situation.
