Dave Steckel was named Missouri State HC today. He was the DC at Missouri and had been with Pinkel for 14 years. This has to help us a little bit.
Yeah, and I heard a report that he was making $600k as the Mizzou DC. His salary as HC at Missouri State will be $270k. Something smells funny about that...
Nope, I haven't seen anything about that in a while. Everyone is still confident that AJ will be cleared of any wrongdoing but this has been drug out wayyy longer than anyone expected.
BabyOG has tea and scones with Croom's mother. I would imagine he is reporting accurate info
Lol! She actually texted me early afternoon yesterday but I didn't want to say anything out of respect for the family and Jason. The media was going to report about it soon enough. I know the extent of the injury but will not say anything, as I've always told MzT I wouldn't, and she's trusts that confidentialty. I will say it's pretty bad, but will give you guys some good news...thankfully, his ACL is intact, and he will be full go for fall camp. Pray for his surgery, as it's a major one.
Hopefully it's just a dislocated kneecap like I originally heard.
I can imagine how bad a broken kneecap would hurt. Yikes.
Dont want to be that guy, but is it possible our wr's are being worked too hard in practice?

Valid question, but the type of injuries that are occurring don't correlate with being overworked. They are all freakish injuries and not nagging "overworked" injuries such as soreness, hamstring issues, fatigue, etc. Von Pearson and Josh Smith had sprained ankles in a game, North had a shoulder tear in a game, and Croom now has a knee injury which from what I can tell is the result of a collision. None of those injuries were really avoidable based on using a lightened work load in practice.
I understand where you're coming from and all, but why wouldn't jason or his family want people to know about that? Makes no sense to me.
