What would the numbers look like next year if we finish 5th and UF finishes around 15-20?
And what would you have said without a well timed Larry quote?
Look dude I get you don't believe me because it's not positive info. But I said it before Larry did. Regardless, that doesn't matter. I don't want e-cred. There's info, so I post it. There's about 10 other posters that have this info but don't post it because everyone thinks they're lying because Butch would never be interested. What would be the point in making something negative up?

I do believe there have been at least mild feelers put out there mostly between third parties but youd be amazed how many times that kind of stuff happens and it never sees the light of day.
Ultimately, my belief at this point is that Jones will return to Tennessee next season with a raise and extension for himself and most of it not all of his staff. But I dont think every day between now and then will be a worry-free day. Again, this is silly season. Coaches, like everyone else, are entitled to find leverage to make more money for themselves and those around them.
If Butch somehow leaves, Hart and Cheek need to be immediately fired
You guys are being short sighted. Sometimes you overpaying saves you money in the long run. An extra 500k a year is nothing compared to replacing your entire coaching staff. Remember he would essentially take the staff with him if he left
In the end, this could be a big gamble for Hart. I still don't think he has the full purse strings to drop a big raise, so do you call a bluff or do you raise?
