I tend to agree with what y'all are saying about Richt. However, I've noted for about 6-7 years that Richt seemed to be on a very Fulmer-ish trajectory at UGA. He had some very good years and recruited at a very high level. Over time, though, recruiting has slipped just a little bit, they have some head-scratching losses each year, had an awful year in 2009, have lots of arrests/discipline issues, etc. I thought for sure he'd be gone by now. But they've stuck with him and things have stayed pretty steady.

The Bajakian offense is an enigma. I don't feel confident about it but I can agree he has limitations. I am excited to see depth get in here so we can see the full product.

Next year is most likely going to be "do or die" for Bajakian, if you ask me. I understand that the OL play has been terrible and there have been some injuries to some key offensive players, but I just can not muster any type of hope in him right now. I do agree he needs up to next year to show his abilities. We shall see.

-The WRs weren't getting open at all. So not only did Dobbs barely have any time to pass, he didn't really have anyone to pass it to anyway. His second interception was really bad, though. It looked like he was targeting Pearson who was running down the sideline and had his guy beat, but Dobbs underthrew it by about 20 yards. Just an awful throw. I'm just not sure about his arm strength. I thought he had a pretty strong arm, but some of throws are reminiscent of Worley's ducks circa the WKU game last year.

I don't agree regarding Dobbs' arm strength. Those two throws he made completely across the field to Howard and Lane would not have been possible without a very strong arm.

Gotcha. My apologies :hi:

He absolutely needs to redshirt. I agree with that. He needs to sit and develop as long as possible.

JJ has raw talent. Imagine if he can be afforded the luxury to sit 2 years and learn the offense and work on mechanics???

His RS Sophomore year could be ready to explode on the scene.

The possible Malzahn/Muschamp combo would rival a Saban recruited and coached team IMO. Might just be the fly in the west ointment that could frustrate Saban to explore other options. If Vols, Auby, A&M, LSU, who all play Bama every year could all reach their potential, the Dynasty could crumble.

That says something about what Saban has built if it takes 4 historical powers all at their potential to beat him.

Saban is going nowhere. Texas could offer him location, money, and instate talent, and he didn't bite.

Pro game is not his game. too much parity.

Best let that dream die

I don't believe he was saying Saban would leave. I think the premise of his post was that if the other programs rise up, Bama would lose games and recruits. The grip that he has on the SEC/nation's throat would loosen.

I give the Bama "dynasty" 3-4 more years before it begins its slow descent from the top. Which is still incredibly impressive. They will likely have a 10-year run of dominance before it ends. But ultimately, Saban's age and the increasing competitiveness/arms race atmosphere of college football will negate his advantages.

LSU isn't going away and is the only team that can really compete with Bama on a talent vs talent basis. Auburn will do whatever it takes to beat Bama. Hugh Freeze is going to build Ole Miss into a very respectable program year in and year out. And Tennessee is two seasons away from being competitive with every team in the conference.

It will be interesting to see what happens the first season Saban goes 8-4 or even 7-5 at Bama. He did go 9-3 in 2010 with what may have been his best team ever.

Like lead the SEC in tackles or INTs explode??:pilot::peace2:

Seriously tho, I'm just messing man, I honestly think he has more *potential* than a Nick Marshall personally

I get the hint at the Vols being in the Belk bowl, but outside of that, what does this even mean? Is breaking the internet a thing now? Is it a new way of saying "generate a lot of traffic"? :dunno:

Yeah I don't get it either. I feel like pedigo looking at a 6th grade grammar lesson.

I know. I'm used to defending him. Most of the time y'all are just trying to get me going.

I take the bait each time

Kim Kardashian caused sites to go down I suppose, with her nudie photo.

This "PAPER" thing is a spoof of that. I am assuming that it means they got a lot of traffic.

Yes. When servers get too much traffic, they slow down and even stop. DDOS attacks often use this to "shut down" websites.

It is very common for Internet users to use hyperbole in their descriptors. Thus you have "break the Internet," meaning "to get a lot of Internet traffic."
